Nice find, but the baseball itself is in poor condition. To pay $3k for it is way too much. Imo.

Yes, it's probably on the high side of the  estimates and the ball is "toned." But the names are remain dark and legible.  So many of the team-signed balls, even the more recent ones, have faded names.

I don't think the ball is in poor condition. it is nicely toned, with strong signatures.  I would say 3K is a little steep but it is still a highly collectible ball.

I wonder kind of pen they used in the early 1950s. These signatures have held up so well.
