Check out this pathetic and horrific Mickey Mantle forgery on a baseball listed by EBay seller Coinfinder58.

This is really putrid.

And guess who the bogus COA is from?  You guessed it:

Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators (GFA) headed by Steve Rocchi.

This is pure garbage, but crap like this gets listed and sold on Ebay because the sellers of this garbage know that Ebay is heavily populated with wannabe autograph collectors, suckers and impulse buyers who know ZERO about autographs.

Ebay seller Coinfinder58 has sold numerous GFA-certed forgeries.

Check out the below laughable item description from Ebay seller Coinfinder58.

A five-year old could have done a better job than this.

And yet this was forensically examined by Guaranteed Forensic Authenticators (Steve Rocchi).

This is the same crap that is usually "authenticated" by Chris Morales, Drew Max, Ted Taylor, etc.

Forged Mickey Mantle and Willie Mays baseball "authenticated" by GFA and Rocchi.

The below is what we call "lipstick on pig."  This is one of the original thousands of forgeries sold by John House of AtAuction with the cheap framing and laughable forgeries.

None of these were hand-signed forgeries; they are copies of forgeries produced on inkjet paper.

I am surprised the PSA legal team is not all over the claims of GFA. Do they really want their name being used in any way, shape or form to promote the alleged legitimacy of GFA?

Great point, Steve.

GFA has infected the fake market and is gaining steam and credibility in the wonderful world of forgeries.

It would be nice if they threw in a real authentic signature once in a while, but why would you if you don't have to? I have never seen a real authenticate signature from anyone with a GFA cert, Or Chris STAT Unathentic or Chris Moralass or Drew Maxipad. GFA is now the undisputed king of authenticating forgeries. Who's next? Nice work fellas.

Post your REAL GFA certed items here, in what should prove the shortest thread in existence.

Damn, I thought I found a real one!!!  the Pedro is authentic, and it is certed by "GFA".  its just a different GFA!

I went to a local comic book shop and lo and behold the shop has a slew of mantle and ted williams photo signed with GFA cert. I didnt have the heart to confront the owner about his inventory :(

Robin, I'm certain there are hundreds of hobby shops selling GFA-certed forgeries.

Disgusting.

don't worry, they won't be in business long.

The GFA-certed forgeries are so bad that there is no gray area.

If you're a buyer or seller of that crap, you're either a scammer, or someone who knows ZERO about autographs.

Here is an awful set of Mickey Mantle/Billy Martin forgeries listed by eBay seller coinfinder58 , of course "certified" by GFA (Guaranteed Forged Autograph). Hilarious "LOA" from GFA as well:

Ryan, the majority of this GFA-certed crap is sold by sellers from Florida-What a surprise!!

"Stephen’s background in law enforcement along with his years of experience in authentication, working with well trained forensic and document examiners, combined with today’s latest technology can produce consistent scientific proof that signatures are authentic or counterfeit."

Scientific proof! LOL. All it takes is 2 eyes!

All of that BS from the sellers of this crap and Rocchi easily fools the Ebay wannabe autograph collectors and suckers.
