Which of these would you rather have in your collection? The second set is from an upcoming Simon Parr auction.

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

I actually have dealt directly with various auction houses and have been asked for advice. If I had been asked about this piece from one of your recent auctions, my response would have been that it’s a poor forgery.

And your point is.... As I say its up to the person buying to buy it or not. Do you not get this??? It's like it doesn't matter how many times you are told this you still don't get it, but you are self proclaimed expert yourself.

You're dying a slow death here buddy...

And I'm enjoying every minute of it

Don your new here, have you had an experience with Parr before?

Oh dear....

Busted....again !!!!!

Your move Simon.... (I corrected your language Don, sorry we do want to keep this clean)

That's  fine Steve...I'll  leave it to the imagination of the membership as to what I mistakenly wrote. My bad....won't happen again...

Look at those   two beauties  below would you ??

Where would one be able to have a chance to purchase those gems ?? Would they have been available through Simon Parr auctions???

Say it isn't so....

well, strange you should mention Simon Parr's auction house but...........

I was wondering what people thought of this one?

that is one horrible forgery, Michelle

any thoughts?

that is a miserable forgery that even someone with ZERO experience on Beatles autographs could figure out.  If this is associated with any auction house, then I would seriously doubt the credibility of that house.  this is brutal.

Hi Simon, With all due respect, you are missing my point. It DOES matter what Ballroom and others think of an item that is talked about in a forum here on AML. The point/truth is that some of the people on here are as good as the TPA's,they just don't have the "title'" and can't claim that they are. I value both Ballroom and Washers (Michael Jackson) opinions on autographs as much as I do any TPA's out there. You mention PSA,Steve Grad is really good, but he doesn't see/authenticate everything that's sent to them and MOST importantly….TPA's make mistakes too, they're only human and it's (authenticating signatures) all subjective and the more opinions So YES it does matter what Ballroom thinks about an autographed item,he is very knowlegdable and respected here on AML. All the best, Bob
