Lennon signed check

Could use some help on this one.Thinking of purchasing this piece from a friend.He obtained it from heritage auctions last September.This is the first travelers check I've ever seen signed by Lennon.My question,is it worth more than most checks out there because it may be a one of a kind? If it is,how much is a fair price for it?I'll also attach the story behind the check with the picture.

Cool piece. I've seen this before. Most...if not all the Lennon checks on the market today are from 1970 to what...1976? This is an unusual item...you don't see these. This is from 1967...Summer Of Love...Sgt. Pepper era. Not a lot of signed items from this period. This is a personal document that wasn't supposed to be seen by the public. Lennon items don't come cheap...he's become an historical figure. Any time you get a chance to get something like this....go for it. You might not get the chance again. Good luck.

It is actually the only check I can find that was dated 1967.thanks for all the input guys.I purchased the check yesterday.No regrets.
