Elvis Presley 1959

A gentleman came to me and offered me this autograph from Elvis Presley! Behind the paper is written the Father's name of his wife. He said the autograph was achieved on 6 June 1959 in Paris.
What I know Elvis never played in Europe.
Could help? If true, how much an autograph like this?

Well I have some information on this. Elvis was in hospital in Frankfurt on the 6th of June, 1959 . He had a badly inflamed set of tonsils. There was talk of taking his tonsils out, but the decision was made to let the inflammation run its course. Elvis was therefore was not in Paris on June 6, 1959.

He did travel to Paris  by train on June 15th.  So aside from your seller providing you with incorrect background  information, I don't like the item.

 I would not buy it.

My first time I look more carefully for an Elvis Signature. I know it's as fake autographs of all.
I am a neophyte to Elvis signatures.
But the signatures that put as an example (in germany 58/59, 57 and 59 by Wittnebert) makes me think it can indeed be authentic.
I liked his story. Despite having made a mistake in the date. His wife at the time was only 14 years old and put his autograph on your notebook with a well next day's date she really found it.
I would like it very that could help me in this item!

Elvis signatures from 58/59 are always faked. He did sign a number of autographs for fans in Germany, but I would be very cautious.

I appreciate your attention to me! This autograph is a couple here in Brazil. He and retired navy and she was the one who took the autograph when he was 14.

I think the general consensus is find a different one and forget about this one..I think that is sound advice. It is the "safe" thing to do.

And smart too.

What catches my attention in the Elvis autograph is that it was done behind the card girl's father's visit.You may notice that the bottom has his name printed. Paper quality is also different.


In this same album that sailor's wife rode as a child has other autographs he sent me soon: Sammy Davis Jr, Neil Sedaka, Vinicius de Moraes (musical partner Tom Jobim plays Bossa Nova music), etc.
