Who would be the hardest celebrity to obtain an autograph?

I heard Marlon Brando was a tough gig to have sign, that he even asked trivia questions and if you got them right he would sign.
So who is the ball breaker?

For my money it would be Jackie "I never rehearsed or read a script" Gleason. That man would hardly sign anything.

do u mean currently living?

Any, when they were alive or still are alive.

Currently the toughest I think are Bob Dylan, Sean Penn, David Crosby, and now, Ringo.  All speaking from personal experience.

I think Prince and Dylan for living celebrities. I believe Celtic basketball player Bill Russell wouldn't sign (even for his own teammates.

David Gilmour is one to add to the list.

Yes, Russell used to be nearly impossible. Hence, his autograph value went way up. But once he finally agreed to start doing shows, he did several. And now his autograph prices are much lower than they used to be.
Ah thanks James, I was not aware he started doing shows! I don't follow sports autographs as close as I should. I just remember old stories I heard of him.
Russell wouldn't sign for anyone, his teammates or even kids. They even used that in a scene on the tv show The White Shadow. I attended his very first public signing at a card show in Vegas in the mid 90's. I remember asking him to add HOF and his year and he said, "I have no idea what year I was inducted, how about if I add my number?" At the time, I was the only person that had an inscription, nobody asked and he didn't offer. Now that all is history as he has a contract with Rich Altman.
Everybody signs.

But Prince- I don't think there is an exemplar since the 1990s.

Dylan can be broken down, Brando had a spurt there in the mid 1990s where he loosened up for a night or two.

Prince, I haven't seen anything new from him.
Ya, I wonder what Prince's autographs cost. I never really see anyone here discussing his autograph. Personally, he's long been one of my favorite artists.

There is some signed Prince stuff on Guernseys right now including a guitar.  Don't have the link but what is your opinion?
