I won this auction on ebay for pretty cheap. It was poorly listed and the autographs looked decent to me but I am by no means an expert. I did the psadna quick check and they said it was likely not real. But from what Ive read that doesnt mean its fake. Every autograph looks like ones ive seen on the internet except for Vivica A fox. I posted it on a collectors forum I normally frequent and they seemed to think it was legit but they are not experienced with autographs either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I will just post the link to my thread I put on there since I posted pictures on there already. thank you in advance! If the poster is real anyone who is interested to trade let me know I love anything horror related. http://nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=7&threadid=1...

any insight on any of the autographs would be greatly appreciated. I am just hanging on to that small glimmer of hope it may be real.

I wouldn't touch that poster. I can't identify Uma's signature at all. It's a blatant forgery, most of time in Uma's graph the formation of the "U" is the same height on both sides other times it'll be a little off on the left side with it being shorter, then it will arch down then it'll overlap and form the "M" about halfway on then acrh down from the "U" her "M" usually overlap the frist line and the second line. That part where the "M" connects to the "A" never looks like that triangle shape. Also at the start of the "U" Usually the pressure is lighter going down then the rest pretty much consistent on authentic examples, that's not what I'm seeing here. As far as the last part there which is supposed to be "Thurman" usually the formation of that is an arch then a little "m" then it trails off to a straight line. The only time you won't see that is in her early examples. Other times the last part is a small line down then above that is a an arch then it forms right into a little "M" then it trails into a straight line. There are times with the first line going down in the part that's supposedly "Thurman" it will overlap as well. All I can say is I wouldn't touch this poster with a ten foot pole. Here's an authentic Uma below that I own.

I think most of the signatures were made by the same hand, but even if I'm wrong about that, buying a cast signed poster cheap is in itself a clue that something's fishy.

I made the same mistake myself about 10 years ago :/

ok thank you so much for the reply into the dumpster it goes i suppose :-(
