I'm flying in the dark here...

I've got a chance (longshot) to purchase a Michael Jackson autograph from a woman who got it in Las Vegas while he was visiting the toy store in Bally's. She worked in Vegas for 42 years in the casino industry.

I have no image to offer up here but I have no doubt it's authentic. It's on the inner blank page   of one of those Harlequin Romance novel pocket books.

I don't have a clue for value...

Can you guys give me some ball park numbers ??

Thanks !!

Do you have a scan of the graph.

Don Webster wrote above..."I have no image to offer up here".....

Any idea on value Paul ??

250 id assume if it's authentic and just on a book page it's basically just going to become a cut sig

Correct Steve...I would venture to say it qualifies as a cut sig

Under 1000 us.

O.K. thanks Paul....any other opinions ??

Are we looking at a thousand (very top of the mark)  or less here then ???

Depending on how it looks $250-$450, unless it's ugly, faded, folded, etc. A lot of paperbacks are printed on porous, very thin, cheap paper, often with a high acid content. Expose that paper to the air and the autograph typically won't stay nice as long as it would on other paper.

To me it depends if it's a vintage fuller signature or a later scribble. I would pay A LOT more for the earlier one since it's a much nicer signature and also way more difficult to forge.

But I'm obviously biased:

Man that's  a great item Jan. Thanks for showing us...

Pardon my ignorance but any help I can get before I take the plunge with a cash offer to my M.J. lady is greatly appreciated.

Jan when you say you would pay a lot more for an earlier autograph just what numbers are we talking...I am looking to be schooled here...

Don,

If you can't post an image any input you get is going to be almost worthless.

Yep.

I don't feel that way at all Steve...

I don't know a thing about MJ's value. ZERO.

I've now learned that the value is perhaps around a thousand dollars top end or less for a cut.

That information alone is worth plenty.....to me....

Thanks to everyone for helping me out...
