A couple weeks ago a good friend of mine, Mike King who for many years was the radio voice of the Indianapolis 500 sold some of his memorabilia he has collected for the last twenty years or so. He told me of this program he hosted in 2004 with these F-1 guys. One program is signed by Hugh Scully and Sid Watkins I assume behind the scenes with F-1 but I'll be honest no idea who these guys are but Mike said F-1 fans would know who they are. But he noticed Phil Hill had written all his notes for the speech on the back of one of the programs. This program is not signed by Mr. Hill but the notes are great content. Talks about "Mr. Ferrari" and sort of a little synopsis of his career. When the event ended Mike, who was not much of an autograph guy, asked if he could have the program. Phil said sure and Mike has kept it for the last dozen years (I wished he had him sign it). I am not worried about authenticity because Mike watched him write and I know it is real. Just curious as to the value of the item and was wondering if Hugh Scully or Sid Watkins has any value? It was laughable how little I paid for it (I bought many items all Indy/Brickyard related) but this was the only F-1 stuff I bought. Just curious what you guy think.
