Jason had started a thread; http://live.autographmagazine.com/forum/topics/what-is-exact-proof-...

and like all good threads there are discussions witin discussions but this sub-discussion came up on a dealer Milton Lubin & http://www.substancecollectables.com/boxing_hall_of_fame___1

It appears that in 2003 although the Lubans were properly served but they failed to answer the complaint.

DECISION AND ORDER
MARRERO, District Judge.
By order dated July 22, 2003, the Court authorized entry of a default judgment in favor of plaintiffs Tiffany (NJ) Inc. and Tiffany and Company (collectively, "Tiffany") and against defendants Milton and Connie Luban and their company Luban Incorp. (collectively, the "Lubans"), the proprietors of an internet site selling counterfeit Tiffany merchandise in violation of the Lanham Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 1114(1), 1116(d). Upon consideration of Tiffany's written and oral evidence as to its damages, the Court awards Tiffany a judgment in the amount of $573,818.64.

Jason went on further in one comment;

This link is the link with the guy and the actual photo we have on files one doctored that has the guy mentioned above.

On 17 May 2012 the guys who were building a file heard the following news : He received a letter from the lawyers of Prince Marketing and Super Star Greetings today. Telling him to remove all items and images of Joe Frazier, Micky Ward, Roy Jones Jr, Hulk Hogan, Chuck Zito, Vinnie Paz and the Super Star Greetings logo. This guy is total scum and is getting what he deserves.

The most famous website in the world for tackling fakes did a special on him here you can read it for your selfs. click the link.

I wont pu the photos yet I will leave them as aces in our hands till we have too but I believe there is enough here to make your minds up if this is true or not.

Recently I received some photos that appear to have been photoshopped and were alleged to be used by Milton Lubin to promote his product offerings.  The one on the left is what has been alledged as the real one while the one on the right has been alledged as fake ones that were used as "proof" pictures.

One recent excerpt from Jason;

Ps yes DB strange here seems no one in America cares about what s going on in their door step and on of this forums own.    (sometimes Jason - it takes some extra cycles ;-)

Since I have no dogs in this fight and Milton Lubin is an AML member here as was pointed out in the intial thread above, it would be pertinent to have some feedback on these claims and allegations.

eBay seller eagleskeith has relisted the Frazier Ali glove with a psa quick opinion saying likely authentic. The only think is it doesn't say which autograph the QO is for. Since the Frazier is authentic I'm assuming it's only for that
Beware
Guys Milton luban is back on eBay under username Emil-chadw, using location as UK. Here is a robe they have listed that is the EXACT Same robe listed on Milton Lubans substance collectibles site

If it isn't luban it's someone selling his stuff. Look at his items

eBay seller Emil-chadw that has milton luban items also has this pair of "training trunks". If the autograph is real it's not from the 70s it's from way later
Also the trunks are too clean in my opinion to be from the 70s, no aging at all. He also says they came from wali muhammad. As I understand it all of Walis items were sold to Craig Hamilton by his daughter daria and would come with a letter from each of them. This of course has none.
BEWARE

eBay seller emil-chadw who is either milton luban or has his stuff is selling this glove that he says is relisted due to a non paying buyer...only think is the "buyer" left feedback saying the seller is great and it was delivered on time. The feedback was left a week later which shows it couldn't have been an automatic post. The buyer had 3 feedbacks...is he buying his own items to pump his feedback up?

Proof in this forum of how Milton has photoshopped himself into photos with athletes. Below is a note at the end of his home page.

Be sure you don't use a photo of Milton.

The glove from substance collectibles that eBay seller eagleskeith had listed then pulled then listed again, the one of Ali and Frazier that only had coas for Frazier has been listed on NJ craigslist lol for 350!

Still emailing back and forth with Senator about Milton and his business practices. I am now getting asked for more pertinent information which is a good thing. Maybe he will make something happen here. I won't quit this line of communication with him no matter what. I will stay on it until Milton gets a call or email or knock on his door from the Feds. This forum will prove to be a very powerful thing as it has evidence of what I am communicating by several different members vs just me telling him what his business is all about.

It is great that we stick with watching out for Miltons Sustance Collectibles COAs so people don't end up with fakes. Milton ripped me off when I first started collecting & didn't know any better because I saw a COA. The worry is not savvy collectors but newbies to the collecting world. We need to do our best to help protect them & it's still obvious to me Milton should be charged with flooding the market with fraudulent product. He is a low life & scum of the earth.
