Response Likely Not Genuine
I had several more experience collectors them me explain that the quick opinion is usually 80% wrong. I purchased a fake from eBay last year. Hope this helps, but to me it looks fake..
Tell me about it, I been on the hunt now for awhile. I don't want to pay 12,000 for it as well. I was told to check with rr auctions, it's usually psa/jsa or real authenticated, but expensive. I been told that some collectors will sell on this site, so I guess will have to be patient and keep looking. Good luck!
80% wrong might be close to being right. Read my response below. I don't give them any credit for this "correct call" because they declare almost everything "Likely Not Genuine". They have to be right eventually. And Cobain's one of the most forged, so it's a pretty easy call.
It's correct, but of course, it's no great achievement in this case for PSA Quick Opinion. For one, they say nearly everything is "Likely Not Genuine", so they're bound to get one right eventually! Lol. Plus, since there are a zillion fake Cobain's out there, that fact also made it very probable they would get this one right.
My thought process is that perhaps someone did get a cd signed from the group back in the day...
yet doesn't have proof. I'd personally get proof or certification before I put it on eBay though. Especially if I wanted top dollar.
