Over the last months a lot of single Lennon autograph appeared on Ebay. Personally I doubt all of them because of their look. In addition I think the chance to get more than one Beatle on paper is better as to have only one to sign. I heard that there are several very good fakes new on the market and it might be possible that these belong to them. ALL THREE had a "quick look" opinion with a positive result from REAL but this means nothing for me. Just for the matter of discussion - what do you think here?

Trouble is...it's from"Rare and Signed" in the UK...

Stay away.

3 genuine Lennon's from 1969...December ...October...and July 1969...

Like a Freudian slip I read the title of this thread as "Some Lemons".

Then I read the general feedback on the Lennon signatures and laughed myself silly.

I am gonna stick to collecting signatures in person. Online sales even those verified by a "Quick Look" are just too fishy and too expensive a mistake to make.

Thanks for all the images here.

and here is anther one... I am sorry Roger - but this one cant be genuine as all the others you  have pre certificated.

I was looking at this today, there's so many of them.

The problem is - these get a COA ...

Most of the people in this discussion agree that these are fakes.

The problem is these are very difficult to tell one way or the other without the other Beatles on the page.

That`s true aswell. But all these kinds of writing types I have not seen with John and I have a huge archive. All these listed Lennons should appear to be fast written examples from late 1963 to 1964 - but IMO none is genuine.

As it is very difficult to say yes or no outside a full set it would be better not to certificate them at all even you get 15 USD for each quote.

Just because someone says they are pre-certified by me does not mean I did.  People say that all the time and even make fake LOA's.  I did not ok this
