That's a great suggestion Gary! They have that function on another forum (LetsGoKings) I visit, and it's very helpful and user friendly!

The attached pic shows the "first unread" button in the lower right corner.

Is that possible here Steve?

We can't do that on the platform we're on, but I hope to move to a new, state of the art platform later this year. You will be able to do that on the new one. Please hang in there!

Any progress on the suggestion I made a few months ago:

Is it possible to create a button to click that will take you to the first unread post in a thread? Not the newest or most recent post, but the first post that has not been read, whether it's from five minutes ago or five days ago.

Hi Gary,

We'd currently have to leave the Ning platform to do that, which was on our wish list, but Ning now has new owners and things like that could happen in the coming year! If we left Ning, everyone would lose their private messages and other things, so didn't want to do that if we could avoid it. Plus the move to a new platform would probably cost more than $50,000, which I can't afford right now.

One thing would be if you do a search would be to have the most recent items come up first or have the ability to do last first as it appears to be random. Thanks Steve for running this.
