Yeah, I am the one who bought it. I used a little deception here as I wanted opinions without the knowledge that it was from tracks. You can never be too careful with Beatles stuff....I've seen forgeries look perfect. So I just wanted some additional opinions.

They sold a lot of great stuff today at tracks. Don't think Lennon's guitar sold though. They wanted at least $800K for it (exchange rate/buyer premium).

I notice that on these Tracks auctions, realistic prices are realized for items such as signed McCartney albums. On ebay, these same albums have BIN prices of 2,000 to 3,000 and they sit there for years.

Yeah, you have those people on ebay who are delusional with their prices. They buy it, mark it way up, and then let it sit for years hoping someone will come along. When it comes to Beatles autograph stuff, I rarely see anything on ebay with a realistic price on it and the stuff with low prices is usually junk......Still spent a little more than I wanted at tracks, broke the bank, but this is something I've wanted for years.

Could have gone with the Lennon on a budget auto they had listed. But for the extra $400 I got something with good provenance that didn't look all messed up. I think I made a good choice.
