Which are better for autographs from Hall of Famers--Official Major League Balls or Official National/American League balls?

Is the material on one better than the other or does one command a higher value than the other?

I usually go with the ROMLBs, but I started thinking that League balls might be the better way to go, since they're more connected to that player/manager.

it is a personal preference. I try to get signatures of players on balls that existed while they were playing.

Personally, I think the ROMLB sold in stores seem to be of a higher gloss than the OAL/ONL balls that were sold in stores. Then again, that might be a simple matter of gloss dissipating with age.

Generally speaking, I agree with Terrier about trying to get balls that match up to the playing era of the individual. They cost a bit more, though.
