Thought I'd share this as I know there are a lot of Floyd fans here. Truly lucky to meet David Gilmour again yesterday and he was fantastic. Signed and posed for pictures too. Got a few including this absolute gem. Enjoy

Wow. What an amazing piece. Beyond jealous
Oh yeah, nice one. He's on my wish list!

Very nice, I always suspect most of the more difficult signers aren't as bad under the right circumstances and politeness goes a long way.

Couldn't have put it better myself.

Ger, i´m really jealous! I need your address please, and tell me, when you´re not at home and where you have your collection!

;-)

LOL. That sounds reasonable :P

Looks smashing. I'll send you my tour vinyl to be signed. Lol

It seems that DG´s policy about autographs got slightly better and more accessible! Good for fans!

It could be Peter, it's possible. Far more likely is Ian's comment above. I still don't think David would put up with being surrounded by people pushing photos into his face or trying to rack him. My feeling is as he said on Saturday about a Pink Floyd reunion - that just ain't gonna happen.

I saw David Gilmour´s show in Pula, but there was no chance to trying to obtain his autograph at all - I even heard stories from other fans who tried - and didnt get anything signed from David sadly. But one thing is truly shocking. David made final soundcheck and rehearsal - and general people or audience could WATCH it - if they bought tickets to enter amphitheater and stood there - they could hear and watch whole soundcheck! Sadly - it was day before the show (at that time we were on our way to Pula) - some people were even lucky to meet him as he came into venue to make soundcheck - but as fans who knew DG doesnt like signing autographs, they didnt bother him with requests.

But at least I got a tourbook and took many pictures! :) One of best shows in my life - actually sharing the first place with Tina Turner gig now!

Class Peter. The show in Brighton was epic too.

I met him 3 times in 2 days and all three times he said no. He even said to me "I don't do autographs"

Great information Peter & Ger. Was hoping I would have the chance to get something signed in the Spring...Oh well.

Looking forward to an awesome show - Peter the pictures you've posted got me hyped up. Hope this keep this discussion going for anyone else who tries to get Gilmour throughout his Fall Tour...
