Thank you for your responses. Shoot, another one! I've had this for years. Purchased from a sports memorabilia dealer in a large antique mall in Whittier, CA. Story has it that the signature was obtained in DiMaggio's restaurant back in the day.

Thank you very much! Not sure what hurts more, wasting the money or hanging on to something for years and then finding out I've been duped. Thinking it's the later.

Know the feeling, I recently put a couple of my naive early purchases up for opinion only to find out they were not right. I almost felt silly, and I certainly felt annoyed with myself. I can only offer the 'live and learn' cliche.

They all have stories...and stickers...and holograms...and eBay sellers with 100% feedback and 100% authentic "guarantees".

Burn it and learn from the experience. Just like learning to ride a bike, we've all fallen off.
