Nirvana Real or Fake

Hello Everyone,

This is my first post and I wish it was more of a pleasant one. I was referred here from a long time collector. I purchased a Nirvana signed picture from eBay on September 26, 2015. It was signed by Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl and Chris Novoselic.

The seller I purchased it from seemed to be a good person and we talked a lot before I made the purchase, he even explained that it was seen from this guy from the antique road show and gave me a picture of himself and this guy holding the picture. I even looked him up and he was legit, so I made the purchase. I recently tried having it authenticated by psa/dna and came back not genuine.

I recently purchased a Smashing Pumpkins signed cd which was psa/dna approved and asked the seller if he could take a look at my Nirvana Picture, he did and within minutes email back and said it was a fake. I then remember this seller I talked to about a year ago about Nirvana signatures and he's been collecting Nirvana and KC memorabilia for years and has an amazing collection and was probably the most professional person I spoke to about KC. (he referred me to this website) I asked him and he explained that it was, unfortunately, a fake.

I then contacted the seller and explained my frustrations with this picture and said I would like a refund. I explained that I would ship the picture back to him at my expense with insurance and tracking and I even had the picture professionally framed at a cost of $300.00. He basically said this is a true case of buyers remorse and that there is nothing else to talk about. I said no, it's a case of fraud!

So, I'm here asking for everyone's help. What can I do? and please post comments if you think it's a fake or real. I know the answer to the torturing question, but, it would be great to hear some opinions from collectors that have more experience then me and thank you for all your help.

What was the sellers Return Policy regarding authenticity issues?

He basically said that he thought it was real and there is nothing he can do about it..

It's a fake and a very poor one at that,your not the first and you won't be the last to get caught out like this.I bought 3 nirvana items from eBay one was a photo like this and I only found out they were fake when I joined this site.The chances of you getting your money back now are slim I'm afraid to say.
