I’m quite the amateur in authenticating COAs or autographs and simply wanted to reach out and see if anyone could help me with this! I’ll include photos of the COA and autograph itself. It’s for old Hollywood Star Charles Laughton.
hi all, i purchased this Orson Welles signed page the other day from the seller on ebay: khw

It comes with a JSA Letter of Authenticity. just thought id reach out to hear any other opinions on it or if anyone can identify the 2nd signature on the page.

the first is Sigmund Spaeth and the 4th appears to be a local Lincoln impersonator named Willard S. Campbell.

Going from the date of November 3rd 1944, and the mention of Pennsylvania on the signatures before and after Welles id guess they may have been obtained at some rally on FDRs 1944 presidential campaign.

Welles was involved in some capacity at point on the campaign and was with FDR and Sinatra at the FDR's final rally the following night in Boston

Thanks

Just recently bought this black felt tip pen signed 9″ x 11″ photo of Joan Crawford authenticated by JSA, on a whim. The seller couldn't identify the kind of paper it was on, which I thought was kinda odd.

Can anyone here vouch for its authenticity? Or could it be secretarial signed? And how much do Old Hollywood autographs ballpark for? And what about Joan Crawford autographs specifically?

Thanks in advance!…

I've recently brought this autograph with it being sold as Cary Grant. It has come from an autograph album dated 1935 and judging from some of the other names within it, I believe that this autograph dates from the 1930s-1940s. With this in mind, does this appear to be genuine? I've had a look at some other Cary Grant autographs from that time and it seems to match. The autograph has been written on a piece of card with an ink pen and then stuck in the book. I've attached an image of…
