I bought this about the year 2000 from a man who said Natalie Portman signed it for him. I am eager to get it authenticated. Is this how she signed in 1998? Please share with me your thoughts. Thank you

Well, the first thing I should mention is the figure had it's world wide release at the Star Wars Celebration in late April, early May of 1999. Each and every piece that Natalie did sign from late 1998 to the press junket in May of 1999 was signed Natalie Portm__, with the vast majority Natalie Port___. The week of the junket it was Natal__ Port__.

I have never seen an authentic figure signed by Natalie, and this one continues the trend.

What you have there is an excellent forgery done by the guy most of the old time SW collectors refer to as autographczar. He got Natalie in and around NY in the middle 90's and based his forgeries on Natalie's older signature. He then sold these to collectibles shops around the USA. He had a seller on ebay "autographczar" which is why the name stuck, but he also flooded NY with these forgeries thru a collectibles shop called Entertainment 2 Go, if my memory serves.

Pete, Great knowledge and very helpful to any Star Wars collectors ... Excellent.

Ok. Thank you so much Pete!!
