Hi everyone!

It's actually from the "estate" of the serial fraudster and con man Brian Burkel who owns autographsauthenticationsttore.com. Looks like the seller has been tricked into buying from Burkel.

Its "sister" is currently available on his site now:

He has 39 Bowie albums at "sale price" (plus endless Bowie guitars and drum skin covers) at the moment and you will see above sitting next to it (Fame and Fashion LP) is also the person who churns out the acceptable but fake 2001 signatures.

Andy has made me aware of this scammer and wrote about him this week in his blog but googling shows he is well known to this site and other people he has conned have written extensively about him too. By all accounts a very wealthy man with at least 3 aliases.

The album unsigned without this forgers scrawl would be worth more than the £20 it currently stands at.
