Roger Epperson Quick Opinion says fine, PSA says no.

According to the story, the Beatles were on the second leg of their ‘63 Autumn tour and played at The Futurist Theatre, Scarborough on 11th December.  They stayed at the nearby Hylands Hotel, Filey, where the signatures were obtained by a fan and guest.

Opinions?

Yes, what did you find? I based my guess on the appearance of the Paul and John, the very neat George, some apparent slowness/jerkiness, similarity between some letters and overall optimum presentation. Something about the placement/arrangement seems contrived. Hard to verbalize.

I think those are very good observations. I agree. Keithspoon pointed out another pencil set that didn’t look right to me, and the two sets appear to share similar and similarly odd characteristics. The set in the OP is posted there as well.

Thank you for the kind words. I see what you mean in the linked thread

There doesn't seem to be a lot of light and shade between the signatures!

Big Frank's site that pencil set is from light shade..

Id be giving the original post a miss!
