Ive been able to get a few fairly cheap. 1/1 leaf check cut for just over $200, another full check for $150, book for $60, LP for $125.. all I believe were great deals at the time because his signature is so scarce. This book may change overall prices depending on how many total he signs. The high prices you see listed currently for sale are really overinflated.

Just browsing again, you have to be careful, in my opinion, this one is not authentic

They went out of stock quickly.

I waited a few hours too long and missed it.  I hope the window opens up again...

Years ago I was buying celebrity checks on ebay and luckily I picked up one of his.  it was almost an afterthought at the time but I'm glad I got one.

Same here.  Hope it comes up somewhere else.

Found this book store are possibly expecting signed copies. First come first served. You need to let them know if you only want it if it’s signed in the notes. I’m passing as I’m still hopeful of it turning up in the uk.

I got a couple copies of the Hanks book from Quail Ridge.  Packed very well. and received as fast or faster than I'd usually see from BAM or B&N.

did they charge you right away or when and if it ships? I'm tempted to try and not sure if anyone saw it but it also says some signed copies are available to pre-order! on the Willie Nelson book too

They seem to have charged already.  Only $5 shipping, though.

yeah, that's what I figured, I thought about trying both the Willie and Bernie ones but don't really want to tie up $80+ for months when it's not even guaranteed. if they took it out when they shipped like Waterstones it would be a no brainer

Has anybody seen the Willie book pop up anywhere else? This one gives me the autopen heebie jeebies for some reason. I know there are autopen signed books on the Bay, but I dont know if those were marketed as “signed” or not.

I don’t think we should bring up autopen until multiple copies are in the hands of collectors on the forum. It’s just not worth the agitation until multiple copies have been reviewed. And it’s pretty quick and easy to determine an autopen with the number of samples on this forum. These retailers are pretty good at refunding if there’s a problem these days.

when we say stuff like this thats complete speculation it lives on these forums forever, and if a future collector stumbles on this forum while they are investigating a signed book they own or want and they just see those words associated with the release it may spook them away from it forever.

for example, when I first found this forum I was investigating the Matthew mcconaughey signed green lights book and the post brought up autopen. It really made me question the release. Now since then I’ve looked at enough copies and they’re unique enough I feel good about them, and they certainly aren’t autopen.

I just think we need to pump the brakes on screaming something might be autopen, as we will find out if it is in due time.

If an artist has sold autopen books before, I think its relevant info. There is at least one recent title penned by WN that features a printed signature.

Its just information. You can take it or leave it.
