Bob Dylan AUTOPEN Info To Help With Returns / Refunds - Simon & Schuster, Premiere, and Coles

Some users have uncovered potential autopen use within Bob Dylan's expensive art prints. Please check your prints if you own one and post a picture on this thread if you have any concerns.

*UPDATE - Let this be a warning to ALL publishers and celebrities in the future. We are sick and tired of these autopen releases. Our community has had enough and absolutely will not stand for this practice to continue any longer!!!
I want to point out that Coles Books needs to be commended. They made sure to look out for their customers and refused to ship these out if they came from the same S&S stock, which they did. It was also an easy process to cancel orders beforehand if you wished. Coles. on behalf of everyone, I want to thank you for having integrity and watching out for all of us.
I can NOT say the same about Premiere Collectibles. They refused to honor cancelation requests until it was known these books were in fact autopenned. They advertise themselves claiming they are collectors themselves. This is not true. They are a retailer first and only care about your money. There have been other autopen incidents where they absolutely refused to accept blame, stating items were real when they were clearly deemed autopen by the community. Be careful with future purchases with Premiere Collectibles.

I am creating this thread as a comprehensive all in 1 link for returns, refunds, chargebacks and claims made regarding the "signed" edition of Bob Dylan - The Philosophy Of Modern Song. Please use this link to email Simon & Schuster, Coles, and Premiere Collectables as 100% proof these were signed using an autopen machine.
I would like to say right off the bat, Coles Books in the UK is handling this professionally and seem to care deeply about their customer base. They have stated that, once they are in hand, If they find evidence of them being autopenned, they will cancel all orders.. Kudos to Coles.. I wish all retailers would follow their lead. If you wish to cancel your order with them immediately instead of waiting, It seems to be an easy process.

So far, there have been a total of 17 confirmed different templates for the autopen machine used for Bob Dylans signature. I am in the process of creating video comparisons for all 17 sets. Please post full page photos of your item as they are delivered to aid in this process
Here are all 17 templates used by Bob Dylan - I am still looking for full page photos for numbers 8,13 and 15 thru 17 but its still best to post whatever you receive
Be aware when checking against your own copy, it has come to light that they are possibly using 1st and last names interchangeably. Bob in #2 matches perfectly with Bob in #13 while Dylan in both are different

16th variation - Seems to be almost an exact combination of #11 and #13 with a different vertical line in his "D"

Dolly Parton is also guilty of using multiple autopens in the same fashion with multiple templates over the years but with a slight twist where they manipulate the page as the autopen machine writes her signature. If we are looking to stop all future attempts at autopen usage, she needs to be held accountable just as much as Bob Dylan and S&S. Link to threads below

I just read Addison's comment to my wife, I can't type what she said as this is a family forum.....
It's far more than a bit of controversy - it's blatant fraud and deception over a long period of time!
He could have signed the damn books and prints or just done the obvious thing and not sold them in the first place if he wasn't prepared to sign them!
Mr Dylan is getting off lighlty this far, and deserves to be accountable and prosecuted.
Fraud is fraud and nobody is above the law - not even Bob 'frigging' Dylan !

It's comments like this that his team and other autopen users will read and think, "The backlash from the fans wasn't too bad, seems like all you gotta do is apologize if you get caught and they'll heap on the praise, let's go ahead with more of the autopens! *insert cash register sound*"

That's insane. How can they say you have no empathy, when they have no empathy you got scammed. Especially when your only crime was being a fan of someone willing to scam their fans. If anything they should be upset that a mega wealthy celebrity thinks it's okay, and is greedy enough to scam his own fans for $600. Seems like that vertigo excuse worked perfectly on his gullible fans.
Plus they can kiss his ass all they want, he's never going to read their comments. If they're so worried about someone getting their feelings hurt, they should worry about the people who got scammed and dealt with a bunch of bs that will actually read their brain dead and offensive comments.

I hadn't heard of that before, but I have suffered from positional vertigo myself. That's why I didn't buy his excuse... and if they think he should be coddled for having vertigo, then they shouldn't be wishing death on someone who has a similar condition. Is Bob that fragile? He can't handle it but they think someone else should be able to. It's disappointing for sure... but then again some people are still fans of R. Kelly and OJ, so no real surprise.

I seen some of those comments saying how dumb it was to pay for an autograph, and why would you want an autograph you didn't get in person... as if that's an option with Bob.

Ry Cooder has more integrity in his left arse cheek than Mr Dylan and his entire team combined. Plus, the Rolling Stones ripped off Ry's open G playing style in 1968 and went on to make Gazillions with it while never giving the man an ounce of credit. Ry never publicly complained once. A true master, with his integrity fully intact.

Don't take any notice of the Facebook Idiots defending Bob Dylan - they need to get a life !
I've been a massive fan since I was 10 and I sure as hell am not defending him, to be honest, the more i think about it, I would love to see him prosecuted! That is why I am surprised nobody has even reported this whole multi million pound book and print scam to the Police at the very least! You may not get far but it may get Mr Dylan to realise we are outraged. .
You just cannot defend what he and his team have done. It is immoral and Illegal, I will probably go back to loving his music when this has died down and he gets his comeuppance - but as a human being - well we all know what we think of him.
As for the idiot of Facebook wishing you dead - screenshot it for your records as that has probably broken Facebook rules and the law and report them accordingly - I'm assuming Facebook have a zero tolerance on this type of behavior and they deserve to be banned for life!
Would it be an idea for some more of these comments be posted on here for people not on Facebook and for proof?
