To make things more confusing some people on reddit are saying that their signed copies do NOT have the unique bar code sticker which would match up with the guy's pics who sold on ebay earlier this morning. Seems like a potential mess.

Certainly more than 250 US copies.

So far, my two orders on Amazon just say "delayed" not canceled so I take that as a good sign. Keeping one set and cashing in on the other. I would be stupid to pass on $1000 LOL

Mine was delayed before it was cancelled

I've been wondering about this. Would it make more sense to cash in now (when the demand is high), or cash in later (when maybe the price goes up)?

I hope that your orders go through, but I guess I won't believe it until the packages start showing up. It's really frustrating that all of these online bookstores didn't think more carefully about stock before opening orders.

I have no doubt the value will go up but it’s holiday season so u know…

Short term I would sell now, while you profit from the Holiday season and the promotion of this new book. These will go up in the long run, but that could take a while depending on how many copies will still be delivered.

You never know what happens. I don't expect the stores to receive the thousands of copies ordered, but there might be shipments of dozens/ hundreds underway. B&N got them, so why not BAM, Indigo and possibly Amazon?

Last year we had a similar situation with the Renegades books. Lots of orders (at full price) were cancelled by Amazon, BAM and others. Books were selling for a profit.

Then a couple of weeks later Amazon gets flooded with them at a discount and the price dropped.

What do you all think went wrong with Amazon, BAM, and so on? They thought they would receive thousands of copies and allowed people to place way more orders than they could ever fulfill? Why would they do that?

To keep hundreds of thousands of pounds in their bank accounts earning them interest and not us!

At least in the case of Amazon, they don't charge until the item ships?

Just want to make sure since Bob Dylan has scarred me for life, not autopen right?

You can see how mine looks.
