I'm interested in finding out if it's real.

Doesn't look at all like the lyrics below -- but those were more recent.

Also, I've never seen a capital  "B" like that in "Bob" (in the note)

There are more contemporaneous examples of Dylan’s handwriting available than that 2013 lyric sheet.  His red notebook from the Blood on the Tracks period, for example.

This piece presents a dilemma because the provenance is seemingly rock solid:

Regardless, even if the note came from Dylan’s office, I don’t believe that’s Bob’s handwriting.  Certainly not the main poem (which is awful, btw).  It doesn’t look like any other example I’ve seen, from any period of his life.  It actually looks like a young person’s handwriting, possibly a female.  I wonder if it was written by one of his kids.  His daughter Maria was 15 in 1976, while Anna was nine.

The signature is possibly in a different hand.  It seems more assured, like the hand of an adult.  But the style is atypical for Bob.  I’m not convinced it’s by him either.

It should be noted that Dylan’s professional relationship with Jerry Weintraub didn’t begin until 1978.  Dylan signed with Weintraub after seeing a Neil Diamond performance in Las Vegas and being impressed by the theatrics of the show.
