They also claimed to have a reputable coa. I asked from who and This was there reply

"Thank you for your interest in the jacket, however it seems you are unsure of what you are looking for and to avoid any possible confrontations or upsets I would rather not sell the jacket to you. It is always a good idea to research any item prior to purchase, both jackets may be real as sometimes during the shooting of film and commercial's the costume designers will have 1 extra similar article of clothing just in case if the main character of the filming spills, rips, or damages an article then a backup will be available, it's hard to say.

They told me the one in the link couldn't be real because the zippers shouldn't be on the white part at all. I sent them the attached pic that shows it actually did touch the white part. this was their reply to that

"In the photo you have downloaded online of Michael in the limo shows the zipper as being at the seam of the black and white not 50/50 and the photo seems to have been worked on in a photo-shop as the guy holding the albums seems to be an added picture to an original plus the overhead lights in the building make the photo not appear accurate as if there are 3 or 4 photos in one picture. Moreover the past 2 METAL brand Pepsi Leather jackets within the past 2 years I have see sell on ebay 1 of them sold for 1,759 and had a repair on the interior lining and one of the cuffs rouched elastic was no longer gathered, the 2nd one sold for 2,499 and was in nice condition with no repairs."

The seller is correct in that there are usually multiples of jackets/clothing items etc., and some vary slightly.  We ran into this when discussing Michael Bush (designer for MJ) with the Juliens auction forgeries, however the items were completely related to autographed items, so it was appropriate for this forum. 

There is a FB site geared towards MJ merchandise that can help you figure out the legitimacy of items https://www.facebook.com/groups/mjjcollectors/  They'll be able to tell you if this is an "imposter" jacket or legit and is probably a better place to ask about the jacket.
