Let the panel decide .... are these the real deal or not?

Maybe these are real, but they are so easy to forge. I would stay away.
Syd with only a first name is obviously tough to authenticate. So I usually look at the other 3 before to check overall authenticity, along with using a little time sense. I believe that Rick, Roger, and Nick are authentic for both. Each have characteristics I look in their vintage signatures. Therefore, with the correct time period, I see no reason that the Syd can be a forgery. Both fully authentic imo.
I was waiting for you to see this because it's Syd I look at more. I would say Syd is a match for the 3 others in this case. I'm not sure what he was doing with that "d" in the second example though haha. That alone matches nothing I know of.
It also looks like these sets were signed back to back.
Hopefully some others can give an opinion.
thx man
This is an exemplar I have as well.
Nope, I don't really like them. I've seen far nicer examples of Syd's sig.
I have my sights on the Cheffins books right now
So I hope nobody from here is giving me competition haha
We agree on those Cheffins? Superb to the binding and "Rock" solid! A matter of value now.
Here's a couple exemplars that match up well to the one's in question. PSA got these right.
Wow! Those are in my exemplar file as well!
