Right now, RR Auctions has a beautiful and bold inscribed photo with a great JFK signature. The sentiment is personalized to the recipient.
I've been watching the piece for weeks and it's stuck at $1100, with an approximate selling price of $3000.
I've been buying and selling JFK pieces for 20 years, and you're looking to get a premium inscription and signature for under $2000, now is your chance.
I don't see the piece going much higher than $1500, MAYBE $2000 all because it's NOT a good pic of JFK. In fact the pic shows JFK from the back, which is a real let-down regarding price. Unless you know it's JFK, it's not really possible to tell it's him. So, you're basically buying the piece for the inscription/signature--well worth the price.
If JFK's face had been visible, I promise the pice would have a projected value of no less than $5000.
Of course, there could be some dealer waiting in the wings to snag the piece and turn around and mark it up 100%.
Depending on the movement, I might even consider bidding.

It sold at UA a year ago for $1900 with an estimate of 3-4. It will be interesting to see to see where it ends.
I'm going to watch it. But actually, there's a Duke of Wellington that has yet to receive a single bid with a minimum bid of $200
Good luck and I hope you are the winning bidder!
Actually, I'm more interested in a beautiful Duke of Wellington letter that has yet receive a single bid with a minimum bid of $200.
I guess the Duke is not a highly sought after item.
