Got this stupidly from someone on eBay with a 4,000 + positive reviews and no negative feedback. Auto was Not authenticated. Says he got it signed in person at an airport while Shady was walking and it’s a huge poster too.. It’s sorta sloppy the signature I mean. Any comments would be great! Thanks everyone

"Yep, on it..."

Excellent. Please be sure to tell us how it goes. Good luck :)

Hopefully smooth... I’m spooked to buy another auto again... Maybe I should stick to antiques and old school collectibles and not autographs...

Well, you'd afford yourself a huge advantage if you post here before you buy. And use the search engine here to look into sellers. Opinions here are free and there are many exceptional and helpful eyes here as well. Several better than third party graders IMO.

I also collect antiques. :)

Nice!!! I’m a big ww2/military history guy. I can eyeball that stuff for a few seconds and tell if it’s real. I’m guessing it’s the same with some people here on autographs... haha

Wow! I am, among many other things, a specialist dealer in Hiroshima artifacts (tested with a gamma spectrometer and emitting isotopes of Europium). I sell to museums and private collectors. I also collect parts of the ocean liner I write about - the Cunard greyhound R.M.S. Mauretania of 1907. Below are just a fraction of my little gems: Click for larger images..you can write me at magikbilly@yahoo.com.

Below are bookends made from Mauretania's decking, 2 stamped deck bolts, fragments of carving from the Lounge (small gold carving), a carved walnut capital section from the Grand Entrance, Lounge molding (gold w/egg & dart) and Grand Entrance (the less ornate big chunk), a porthole dog, a brass turbine blade from her engines, an ashtray of teak and Manganese bronze from her propellers, a thermometer from her railing, part of a bridge siren, and a recovered documented fragment of Lusitania's hull displayed inside a pocket watch case made from walnut from Mauretania's paneling in 1935 when she was scrapped. The model is a pre WW1 cast white metal 1/1300 waterline model.

Hi Michael, did you see this material I posted for you?

E

Yea! I responded but it failed both times. Once I get my latest house project done and anniversary over with I will definitely be contacting you about a few items!!

Thanks, Michael

Great uncle served in Japan and the European theatre in WW2. He mostly served in Europe from Africa to V-E day then got shipped to the pacific immediately after that. He was a bad a**. I have some photos of him in combat during St. Clair Dumont? I think that’s how you spell it. But, they have somehow gone missing back at my moms. I’ll look next time I’m over there pretty dang cool!

Coconut is from my other Great uncle who was stationed in Japan in 1944
