Asking the opinion of a forgery seller is never the best place to start.

rareandsigned at a glance is a bad joke.

What's your opinion on the gene wilder signature though?

I don't consider myself any kind of expert on Wilder's signature. I think I have less than 10 pieces signed by him. 

The signature looks ok, but it takes far more than that to give an opinion on a particular item.

I just need a few more opinions from other members. Personally I think that this particular signature is authentic. I just like to have opinions from other people to see their views on it.

This signature matches Genes style. This doesn't look copied in my opinion and I can't imagine anyone mentioning that on this forum.

It looks fine to me.. Rare and Signed is a bad forgery outfit, and they'll take anyones money to issue worthless COAs.

Thanks for your opinion, I personally believe that it's authentic. Everyone has so far said this looks fine so I take it this must be genuine.

I have seen some variations of Wilder's signatures over time but I am not the biggest fan of this signature. The slant seems to be off. Can't say for sure. Here is one of mine for reference. Notice also the signed check. Look at the slant of the signature and the "r" on Wilder.

Look at this signature though, the R is the same as mines aswell. Every time Gene Wilder signs he is not going to do it spot on the same, you will se differences. Keep in mind this was back in the late 90s when he signed this flyer at a performance in London - according to the seller.

That's my point. That there is a genuine Gene Wilder signature on that book and I think that the book signature looks the same as mines. Except mines is slanted ever so slightly
