Hello everyone.
I've recently purchased this letter which is in the post. I would like to know your opinion on it. It was the major part of the purchase with other Elvis related items.

It confirms that Otto Schmidt owned the hotel...but does little to confirm your specific Elvis item...

I've sent it to Gerr to look at as well. Thanks again
Not signed. But interesting.

Andy,

I'd ask Roger Epperson to look at your pieces. He can also send you examples of Hands Bakker forgeries. He charges $15 for online authenticity opinions, so it's not much, and he's very good at Elvis.

Thank you Steve. This item is still in the post but should have it by tuesday. I will take sharper photos of both the letter and envelope and pass it on to both here and Roger. Thanks again.

Anyone have a Hans Bakker forged letter to post for comparison?

Ask Rog

Hey Bruce...

I feel pretty safe in saying that the three examples included here are Hans Bakkers handy work...

Roger may be able to confirm that...

To my eyes...these are all ready for the trash bin...

Reply from Roger in his opinion its not real. Fair one!

I think you're now on the right track Andy...

So what happens next??

Do you get a refund on the Elvis but you're keeping the Colonel item??

Are you sending one or both back to the seller?

Will he cooperate in taking the stuff back?

Let's head to the pub for a pint and figure this out!!

Think ill just go for a pint. Lol
