<p>Here is a genuine Carney on top and that on the color SP in question on the bottom. If I allowed for signing angle, <em>it would be even worse.</em> Where would the paraph on the questioned signature <em>then go</em>? As a forgery IMO it is signed on a <em>very</em> different angle and slant, but the paraph angle remains about the same even now to give the appearance on the genuine article. It is all very wrong to me - slant, baseline, connections etc..…</p>

<p>I think the inscriptions of "Ralph" and "Trixie Norton" are in the same hand, and may have been added later? I'm not convinced that the other two are forgeries, but the Jackie is definitely not signed by Jackie, we agree on that!</p>

<p>Thanks for playing. I think the Gleason is a forgery of a Spear secretarial - where is the "My" and the break after the "G" and so on? I think <em>all</em> are forgeries but the Meadows. Never saw a Carney make that "t" to "C" connection like that, drunk or sober (him, not me :-) ) . And the sizes of his letters is strange. The three show some signs of being the same hand.</p>
