I thought I'd share this to see what you guys think. A while back I purchased this white bikini from a non-profit animal spay/neuter clinic in Ventura, California. According to them, a guy that works on music videos and that worked on some of LeAnn Rimes' videos, brought this in to donate it to them for the to sell to help them raise money. I have researched her signature style and it looks like it could be authentic, but I'm not 100% sure. Currently, I have sent the signed piece to PSA/DNA to see their opinion. However, I did tweet a picture of the signed bikini to LeAnn Rimes to see if she'd possibly respond asking her if it is legit. She didn't reply to the tweet, BUT she did "Like" the tweet. Either way, I didn't pay a whole lot for it as I won it in an auction. What do you all think?
Certainly looks like her autograph, just not sure what video it would be from...
I sent it in to PSA/DNA and they gave it "questionable authenticity." I called before they had shipped it and asked them to review it again and they refused. They said I would have to pay to have it resubmitted and authenticated again (but the lady I spoke to didn't recommend that). Why would you offer a service that you wouldn't recommend? Most of my stuff that I've sent them has passed authentication. After looking at her signature and her "liking" the tweet, I believe it is authentic. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time they have gotten it wrong in my opinion. I sent them a Peyton Manning autograph that I know was authentic, and they didn't pass it.
JSA is coming to a convention here in Knoxville next weekend, the authentication fee for her is only $20, so I'm going to see what they say about it. I still think PSA/DNA was wrong on this one, but I could be wrong myself.
