Jeff, I have the exact same shot, it was signed TTM and now I am thinking some kind of autopen or print.
There are plenty of people claiming that his mail signatures are secretarial, but I have not found any definitive proof either way.
This is an older authentic sample.....
Similarities are undeniable between the TTM and older signatures, but it is different enough that I am waiting for more information before destroying the mail piece. Seeing the one you posted next to mine......they match perfectly.....too perfectly.
Since his accident, his signings are almost nil.....info is slow in coming, but I don't know if that is something you want to pay a lot for.
not real in my opinion
Jeff,
I have an interesting twist to this conversation. Was Signature Pieces by chance the place you located the Freeman you asked about? I am starting to think that is the case, seeing as I did locate the TTM piece. This one pictured above was actually signed inperson, and it has been consigned to Signature Pieces.
So it is no autopen, and not a copy.
They are indeed the same piece.
Hello again Pete,
Yes, it is from the current Signature Pieces auction. So which one is the IP signed? The one you posted or the one from Signature Pieces?
They are both the same piece. If another with that same placement and signature was found I would be concerned. The Mail piece is entirely different...and not pictured in this thread.
