Though I recall a member posting a blog asking about this a while ago, I could not relocate it for my purpose in this discussion.

It can be nice when one stumbles upon a musician's shop (via their website), to see that they are selling their autographs. I figured this could grow as a wee database for listing those musicians who partake in this.

I recently recieved a couple press photos signed in ballpoint from John Mayall's website (http://www.johnmayall.com/merch.html). I am also aware that you can purchase signed CDs from Peter Noone of Herman's Hermits(http://peternoone.com/store/). John 5 ( formerly Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie guitarist) sells various items signed, with an option to dedicate.

So, does anyone else know of this being done by other musicians?

This arrived today.

i met them all in a best buy a long time ago..they were signing anything..it was in the 90s..i had a modern drummer with jimmy on the front they all signed..

That cost 15 times as much as the Mumford and Sons CD...but it looks like they spent 15 times as long signing it as Marcus Mumford and his bandmates did.  To paraphrase Vincent Vega in Pulp Fiction talking about a $5 milkshake: “That's a pretty f***ing good signed album. I don't know if it's worth 250 dollars but it's pretty f***ing good.”

Taylor Swift $250 colored vinyl https://store.taylorswift.com

Gotta love how they use the non-word, "VINYLS" on the swift page..smdh. VINYL IS ALREADY PLURAL!

Grabbed 1989. $250 is a steal for Taylor.

Must be sold out, I don't see anything

Yeah, they didn't last long.

If $250 is a steal for a Taylor Swift autograph (and apparently it is because both signed albums seem to be sold out already), times have changed! On her 2011 Speak Now tour, which we took our daughters to, the merch table had signed copies of that CD for $30. I bought one but I hesitated doing so because we had just bought a signed copy of the Fearless CD a year or two before on her website for about that price, but we figured this way each of the girls could have one. I'm glad we did! She signed both "XOXO Taylor" as I recall. Once you get yours, can you let me know if that's what she still signs? It would have been nice to have her whole name but for $30 I'm not complaining.

$250 seems a little high, I bought a couple a few years ago they were $125 each I believe.

$250 is indeed stiff, but her name is only going up from here. She's at least 400 on eBay and auto sites.

Will let you know for sure how she signs it.
