Questions On Music items from UK dealer

Garry King is well liked by some but I see a big problem with some of the items I see on his site. I'm not referring to Kenny Baker and other small bits but rather the large $$ music items.

Dealers in the UK might not be aware of current music item that they offer for sale. In another thread several autographs from Autografica were deemed fake. The items were Clint Eastwood, Charlton Heston and Harrison Ford.

He might not know there is a problem.

Gary I will be honest and this is me talking me .
After this scandal genuine or fake you have to be a moron to still sell them .
Even if they are real what idiot would buy it with pride .

Also I don't like the talk of UK people selling under the counter I am in the UK and so are you Gary you say you don't and I am telling I dont have any to sell and if I had no way would I sell them after this fiasco don't want deal with this situation down the road so this is why I wonder what moron is doing this , Also it's no crime if some one did have them as people all they do is business the crime here is if and I mean if they are fake then the twat that faked them should be the one that needs to hang not your the everyday person who did nothing but buy the honest way .

Think about it imagine some one bought one on eBay for investment a normal person as he thinks in 10 years he might make a few grand how can you call that person a criminal he did what the dealer did .

There is only one tosser in this the twit that faked the stock what ever it and when ever it is .

Its NOT you mate, Im sorry for any reference I made that people here on the forum may think its you

Im not naming the UK dealers but I have been reliably informed that that 2 dealers are offering these Jacksons with the same form of signature to buyers but not displaying them on their web sites !

Personally I would be returning them to my supplier and get a full refund.

They have been called 100% Genuine, but as you say this will never go away after this Fiasco, easier returning them and just move on

I understand what your saying, and for the benefit of collectors out there.....

If you have bought any Michael Jackons autographs since his death I would state that maybe you should have these independantly checked for Authenticity

No matter where or who you bought these from, just to re assure yourself

I know That when this hit the headlines I went to my supplier and obtained the full signing details etc, and had them checked by Steve Cyrkin

You cant be too sure and even I dont want to be caught out

the only issue with the dealers who buy that seem to base it on trust and isn't that the subject of your other thread Jason? Trust but verify.

DB a crime is committed or suspected here so yes mate a legal team is best sometimes the law can get the answers no one else can so , at list be thankful that Aftal care enough to do this , they could have done nothing instead . So I say this is welcomed .

Ps yes DB strange here seems no one in America cares about what s going on in their door step and on of this forums own , unless their don't want to cause more damage to NY after the sad events .

I think we all get that your an AFTAL member and you like what the organization represents, but your defense for them in this case is falling largely on deaf ears. The actions of a few have made the organization look bad and they are going to have to do some heavy damage control to fix it. This is a major story about a major autograph organization, so why wouldnt their be this big of a deal here about it? If it went on in the U.S., the same exact story would be happening and just as big of a deal would be made. Corruption, forgeries, and threats are a big deal no matter where you live. It may seem like people are condemning all AFTAL members but we all know thats not the case. But this issue deserves any and all the attention its getting as far as the root of the problem which is apparently this Adrian fellow. I understand you dont like hearing people bad mouth AFTAL but this attention is well deserved.

And im with Mike, i dont know what that comment meant about the U.S. and our own doorstep, etc, but if its the way i took it, then its a very low thing to say and your extremely misinformed.

from what I have read on here and been told by various sources in the UK, the amounts of Michael Jackson autographs that Adrian has offered to buyers around the world appears to be over 200 and perhaps as many as 400

So the more you buy the better deal you get !

Steve I got asked loads of times in the end I asked Andy and Gary if I join and am at a show and I see someone selling s*** will you back me up if I can prove it ?
They said yes , for me I see the autograph conventions as another eBay it's open to scum to sell junk so I asked showmasters who are the biggest if they would also stand firm and they did they said prove to me someone is selling bad stock and he is out , and credit to the chaps I have done it 3 times and no arguments at all , at the end of the day they are collectors too .

So with Both by my side I thought right time to clean the shows from scum .
Only problem here is for every fan I have i also have 3 that hate me and that's the fakers .
Just like us they are also trying to make a leaving and feed either their family or maybe buy crack I don't know , so when some one comes and ruins their party then it's hate time .

Why you think Gary king gets attacked cause he is loud and don't care to expose them , so he made many enemies along the way as one does in this game .

F*** I have friends that hate me because I go all over the world every month and I do all the festivals etc jealousy is also hatred , so been popular don't mean it's a good thing sometimes .

When the tv show we are doing comes out in the US next year I will be the most hated graffer on the planet people already say to me s*** like yea I was offered to do tv I turned it down blah blah .

Yea what ever anyone can chat s*** but to make a difference in this world you can only do this by making enemies this proves you are actually moving forward and not hiding away .

People that don't know me maybe think am crazy etc but the people that do they know I love what I do and when some one threatens my job by selling fakes I take it personally friend or not am on the side that says f*** the forgers .
