Is anyone going (or has gone) to Roger Waters Us and Them Tour and gotten autographs? If so, any tips?

I may go to one of the Chicago shows at the United Center, or the St Paul show. Any idea where to look for him or what times? Is it better to check the venue or hotel?

Thanks for any help!

I will be there in Philly Aug 8th (unless I hear he shuts down). But this thing with hiring homeless absolutely disgusts me! Couldn't imagine what Roger would think of it!The greed with this 'hobby" is really out of control. I read at Comic Con there were 75 Justice League posters signed from a lottery and a third were on Ebay for over a grand.Very disheartening. I know one of the Queen members just posted he was shutting down as he's tired of seeing guys with stacks of albums at every stop.

I damn near got in a fight with a guy in line at Roger's Columbus date because he was bragging about how many homeless people he hired and I called him on his nonsense. It's a damn shame how all the pros are ruining it for everyone. Many great legends have stopped signing all together or very rarely. I even had a guy at this same show ask why I had such a "crappy" old copy of Dark Side. I told him it was my personal copy and I would prefer to have him sign it since I would never dream of selling it.

Not only did they hire homeless people to get autographs, but they didn't feel like they had to respect the people already in line. About 15 showed up at one time and cut in front of about 50 people who had been in line for hours. Things almost came to blows until the "handlers" made them go to the back of the line. Curiously though a couple ended up at the front of the line when Roger showed up.
Yup I was there for all that. Chicago was very ugly. Also doesn't help that the United Center isn't in a great neighboorhood. We saw a handler at the local Walgreens recruiting people to walk over and wait.

Wow,thank god I don't have to go to New York!

The Queen member was Brian May on his Instagram. He used to be a good signer but these guys are just getting beat down!

Someone mentioned black friday, same deal with the dealers (flippers) would hire homeless to buy, ltd lps and flog them on ebay. In the end you just stop collecting them.

Yeah, I think I am growing in my collecting. I do not want such a modern graph with those sort of memories. Unsavory. As Orson would say "unrewarding". I prefer to admire my 1984 vintage LP, I already own it, its dedicated, I don't have to wait in some line...and to think it was signed in Montreal right after one of those killer Clapton Pros and Cons concerts with all that extra music and so many Floyd rarities...The Gunners Dream for one. And signed by Waters when he was what - 40? Still a MONSTER.

Besides, at the rate he is signing now, and the current quality of some of his graphs...

Collect vintage. They don't make it anymore.

Yeah not sure id do it again. Just wait a couple months and you can pick up a nice signed Wall for under 200. Only reason why I waited is because I wanted to finish a couple pieces which you saw.

Well, I am glad you did. Your collection is...simply amazing.

I appreciate that Eric. Here is the last one I got Sunday

Good heavens! Just the right contrast - not too much or too little! And the placement...

When I think of your vintage Animals - well, I start to rave and drool! ;)
