Steve asked me to start a new thread since some were having a lot of issues with regards to whether or not the through the mail autographs of Jerry Lee Lewis are real or not.  I will post some examples of what we have been getting recently and some know in person examples.   These TTM signatures are not cheap.  You have to pay $50 for them to his box office box.  The question is are they real or not.  Roger has said that he has never seen Mr. Lewis sign this way and it looks to perfect - like a woman's signature.

Please post your thoughts here and examples.

thanks

I've been going back and forth with these. My current feeling is Jerry Lee is signing them himself. I have compared the million dollar quartet signature I just received with dozens online and find enough to support them being authentic. The following is a vintage in-person example I found that is a good comp in my opinion.

Bob's prized Jerry Lee Lewis autograph obtained at the gig

That sure looks like the TTMs posted here.  A good sign!

The one thing that Roger said he didnt like about the one I got TTM was the "rr" in Jerry.

Steven, I don't know if that ebay link shows guaranteed authentic items. The "proof" photos he on his listings show celebs singing but rarely if ever the exact item he or she has listed. I am skeptical of these proof photos after seeing some sellers post dozens of mccartneys over the years using a single proof photo.

the second one with the 375$ jerry lee im very confident he's legit  and ive graphed with him he came from Chicago up to Canada just to graph black Sabbath the other day and he and his girlfriend had stacks of items and hit them like pros.

The signed CD looks exactly like the ones recently obtained ttm for 50.00, squiggly line and everything.

Where did this CD come from, who got it signed?  Look at the way he wrote "yours" on the CD, that is not the way he does it, the "yo" in "yours" is very distinct when he writes it.

Look at the way he wrote sincerely on the TTM and compare it to the known authentic ones, they look nothing alike.

I know.. that is why I posted those up from RR auctions.

hey rsteve the cd JERRY LEE LEWIS SIGNED CD COVER I got confirmation from autographs1000 on and he bought it from a dealer in the states the guy is normally an in person so I guess it very well could have been a ttm one as well.

the 375 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jerry-Lee-Lewis-Autograph-signed-8X10-proof...

im very confident is authentic although sadly it doesn't really compare well to the ttm ones

Regarding the CD booklet signed in 2010

The CD came from this

I only posted it because it was "suppose" to be a current example of the way he signs.  Is it real.  I have not clue.  I read that Jerry did do a Best Buy signing and he signed all the cd booklets in that manner.  NOW did he actually sign this booklet in the auction.. Sorry I do not know.  I will email the person selling and ask if he has a photo of him signing the CD booklet.
