your story is more believable than the one in the OP. And you are not making up a story to sell your item. Not accusing anyone of that in the case of the Zep item, but having to have a French person buy your ticket, then finding a backstage pass on the staircase, charging the drink to Zep etc etc, is just a little too fantastic to me.

The other thing that is strange is that the ticket is in immaculate condition bearing in mind the vendor was travelling around different venues trying to get a full set of sigs, it looks brand new. Its easier funnily enough to keep a larger item in prisitine condition than such a small item. Cant even find half a crease on it let alone any handling wear, - its all a bit surreal imo

Was at an intersection, making a beer run for a pre-show party, since we had an amazing apartment on top of Beacon Hill with 360 views of the entire city. It was adjacent to the State House on the top of the Hill, and we looked down on the dome. The Park Street Church was in front of us. The roof deck, which was the 26th floor, was solely ours, and was open with views in every direction. I have a full set of slides somewhere.

So I was stopped at a light at an intersection, trying to decide quickly whether I am going to drive to the closer, crappier but cheaper beer store one way, or the better. further store the other way. As I'm waiting at the light, a limo swings around the corner. Then another. When the second limo turned, you could see light shiing in fromt he windshild, outling a bushy head of hair in the bacl. Sensing this might be the band, I drover through the light and around the corner to where the limos were pulling up to the Parker House Hotel. The band got out, as did I, and all walked into an entirely empty hotel lobby, as in not a single human hanging out, and not a single employee visible. And the Parker House is an elegant old scjool Boston treasure, but everyone was out of place, so I had the band alone in the lobby. I broke the ice with Jerry with the Winterland clown and related stories which he call ed Phil over to hear. Finally, an employee appeared and handed everyone forms, to filled out by hand, one-by-one. It was taking quite a while, easily more than 20 kinutes to accomplish the whole check in. Toward the end, I said to Jerry, look, I put on shows, and am usually reluctant to bother artists for autographs, but I'm on this beer run, and will be heading back, and trying to explain this story, much less getting people to believe it, so if you could just sign the Parker House pad. Jerry signed "Howdy" Jerry Garcia. (I said howdy habitually back than after going to undergrad in St.Louis) All the other band members signed, except Mickey who had left to go somewhere else directly from the airport.

It's one of my pride and joys, in person, favorite band, crazy story good times.
