Another of my favorite sci-fi films - 1968's 2001: A Space Odyssey from the book by Arthur C. Clarke. Original b/w single weight publicity still by Kevin Bray of Captain David Bowman, vintage-signed in felt tip by Kier Dullea. I hope you like it :)

New to the site - I've had a few nice finds over the last few months, but I guess I'll start by showing off one of my jewels.

To my knowledge, this is the only copy of Quincy's autobiography I've found or seen anywhere that was signed/dated in the month of publication (publication date was Oct. 9, 2001, according to the Amazon listing). I found this, sans dust jacket, at a Salvation Army in midtown Toronto and paid $1.50 for it. I am not sure who the "Diane" referred to in the inscription is, and the only information I could guess based on the detail in the book is that it either belonged to Diane Warren (the songwriter) or a Diane who worked with the Listen Up! Foundation in New York.

It has pride of place on one of my shelves.

Self-titled debut LP by Hound Dog Taylor and the HouseRockers. This is an original copy of the very first record ever put out by Alligator Records. It is signed on the back cover by the full band, including Hound Dog Taylor, Brewer Phillips and Ted Harvey. This is a very accompaniment to their second and last studio LP which I also have signed by the full band (shown below)

There is a guy I wish I would have seen live in a bar.
