I am looking forward to meeting and getting an autographed book from author Daniel Silva. He is lecturing at the JCC in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

Bookstore, periodic lectures at local libraries, and other like venues are perfect places to meet your favorite author. Unfortunately, such event are not all that common. You have to be constantly on the alert.

Sometimes if you are real lucky (I am) I got Norman Mailer, Peter Benchley, and Anne Rice through the mail. It takes a little seaching to find their address.

I picked up a copy of the book L.A. Outlaws by T. Jefferson Parker at Big Lots for $3. I bought it so that I could put my signed bookplate in it that I received some time ago from the author.  I think that it looks pretty cool! Now I want to get books for the other signed bookplates that I have in my collection!

I picked up a couple of signed books today at my local Big Lots store. I was able to uncover a signed copy of The Ghost War by Alex Berenson and Undead and Unworthy signed by Mary Janice Davidson! Great buys for only $5 a piece!

I was trolling through the bargain books at Big Lots again today. I was able to find 2 signed books! The first one I found was a signed copy of The Prince of Frogtown by Rick Bragg! The cool thing about this book is the fact that it has the "autographed copy" sticker on it! The second book that I unearthed was a signed copy of All I Did Was Ask by NPR host Terry Gross. The coolest part was the fact that I only paid $3.18 for the 2 of them! That's a good day!

Attended a Brad Meltzer "The Inner Circle" Book signing last Wednesday and Brad was kind enough to also sign "Identity Crisis". Funny and nice guy.

I picked up a signed copy of "I'm Sorry You Feel That Way" by Diana Joseph. I actually found it in a $3 bin of books at Big Lots!
