On November 11, 2001 coworkers and I were assigned to capture an evening discussion at the 92nd St. Y. The focus of the discussion was on biological weapons and warfare. I think they scared the audience.
The panel included:
Broad, Engelberg and Miller are authors of the book, Germs: Biological Weapons and America’s Secret War. And because Krulwich left his two pages of notes behind, I grabbed them.

Went out this past Sunday morning/early afternoon and the 4 members of the band "Jimmy Eat World" at a local venue near me. I was successful and got all 4 of them in a matter of only a couple hours. A bunch of really nice fellas I must admit. While their music isn't what I listen to...at least it is not full of profanity or singing about murder or suicide. My Goddaughter loves them so that was the reason for going.
Just got back, a short while ago, from The White Oak American Legion where
Cleveland Still....the last performing original member of The Dubs.....and
his group are doing a concert there tonight. He signed my LP that I had for him.
Not too long ago I waited for Olivia Newton-John to sign some things for me. It turned out that her manager, handler or whoever was in charge took my items for her to sign and told me to stop back later when she would be available and he would have her sign them for me. Who am I to argue so that's what I did. Gave him my items. Evidently she likes to personalize what she signs cause he asked me who I wanted them made out to. I had 3 items...a Grease LP, a Grease CD and a Grease laserdisc but both myself and her representative didn't have anything to write on other than a scrap of paper that I had in my wallet. I wrote down the names on it and he took it. It turned out though that when I came back and he brought my items out to me they weren't personalized but rather just her signature with her standard greeting on all three of them. I was told that he lost the scrap of paper and just had her sign them. Lucky me right? I was more than happy to not have them personalized anyways.
