Not sure if this is where I should post this or not, but I do have a lot of autographed Nascar trading cards that were obtained in person at Michigan Speedway in the early to mid-90's. I'm open to…Continue

Nice Bill !!!  I have just never had any real luck with Tony....i no longer carry anything for him...i have seen him be rude to all shapes and sizes....personally, i don't care if he blows me off, i'm old and if you don't want to sign, no big deal...but he's often rude to ladies and kids...not my favorite driver so i don't have much for him...

Tony Stewart and Rico Abreu came to town for the All Star Circuit of Champions sprint car races tonight.  The best part is the rains came and cancelled the show after hot laps, so Tony will be back again in a couple of weeks for the make up event.

Cool....Walker must go every year....and i love David Ragan....nice guy...you never know who is going to show up for each leg of the tour.

Tim, Heisman Trophy winners George Rogers and Herschel Walker were there today too.  Harry Gant was part of some of the earlier days, as was David Ragan.

I found my Kyle Petty Charity Ride Hero card pretty easily...it says 2006 so i got it signed in 2007 or 08....Like his dad, Kyle has a beautiful signature...and perhaps unlike other people, i like to get some things personalized.....

Great pickups there Bill  !!!!!  Love the 43 diecast...that's a keeper !...Richard Petty is so gracious, i am embarrassed to approach him again for an autograph.....

We had the KPCR come our way a few years back and i rode my bike down to one of their stops....Kyle was super and signed a few hero cards for me...my favorite being a KPCR hero card, which i will dig out and post...I love motorcycles and these guys do so much for charity...On the other hand, i have approached Kyle numerous times at the track years back and he often refused to sign....hit or miss....

Who else was with the ride?  Hershell Walker was with him when i went....

Pretty cool to ride accross the country.....

Thanks for posting....

michael, you are correct, he was in a hurry...but i would rather have a rush autograph than take the card home unsigned.....and you are also spot on about the great scott speed...another stellar signature....you just never know who is going to be in a good mood and make your day, versus, who is pissed and going to be a jerk about signing.....they have geographically changed richmond with regard to ability to access the drivers if you by the  pre-race pit pass.....you can still get a few xfinity guys as the come into the garage, but you will only see the cup guys on pit road...already in their cars...only a rare few will take the time to sign....

I wasn't that way a few years back....just keeps getting progressively worse for autograph collectors...

Dover is set up so that you won't even see the drivers unless they are signing at their trailers.....

thanks for the comments....i laugh thinking about what i am going to do with all these autographs when i die...i have thousands of sigs on hero cards...they mean alot to me, but are meaningless to the queen.....

take care....

Nice autographs Tim. The only one I would say was a bust was the Matt one. That's about as bad as scott speed was. all his was two s's ontop of each other with a line going down the middle. like a dollar sign. I guess he was in a rush. either way he signed something for you. as for the others all of them are nice signers. I've gotten Newman many many times and he doesn't just say oh 1 item like another driver did. I hope when Pocono comes I have some luck. they are trying to do what other tracks are doing and have driver intro near the grandstands. Don't know if I'll luck out or not. usually some drivers sign on pit road prior to qualifying but with this new idea of qualify on sun and race on sunday who know's how this will work.
