The Bob Newhart Show remains one of my favorite television shows of my youth.  This is an 8x10 photograph of Bob Newhart.  Newhart actually had a first show in 1961 with the same title it was a variety show that never really took off and he himself did not like doing.  In 1972 he started The Bob Newhart Show a situation comedy and immediately found an audience on CBS.  Newhart plays clinical psychologist Dr. Robert "Bob" Hartley with Suzanne Pleshette his wife.   The show ran from 1972-1978 ending while still a hit. There were only five cast members that were in nearly every episode and only 11 that made double digit appearances.  The good thing about the series is that the top six are fairly easy to collect. The most challenging are Lucien Scott who played the grouchy Mr. Vickers and Florida Friebus who played Mrs. Bakerman. Renee Lippin is also very difficult.  Those that were on at least five episodes are given below.

Bob Newhart (Dr. Bob Hartley) 142
Suzanne Pleshette (Emily Hartley) 142
Bill Daily (Howard Borden) 140
Marcia Wallace (Carol Kester) 140
Peter Bonerz (Dr. Jerry Robinson) 139

SUZANNE PLESHETTE  (1937-2008) was the wife (for an extremely short time) of Troy Donahue.  Her third husband was Tom Poston.   Her last television appearances were on Will and Grace.  She was nominated twice for an Emmy for her role as Bob Newhart's wife "Emily Hartley" on The Bob Newhart Show.  This is an 8x10 b/w photograph.

RIP MR. CARLIN (JACK RILEY) 1935-2016.  Best known for the 49 episodes as "Mr. Carlin" on The Bob Newhart Show.
