This is when I first went to a Monkees concert in 1997 and was able to get backstage after the show to meet and get their autos. I was so thrilled!

This is another recent acquisition. I purchased this from Butch Patrick and he signed it in my prescence. I then mailed it to Bill Mumy (Lost in Space) to have him sign it. This was in October of this year.

Here's one I purchased from Bill Mumy, who had starred in both the original Twilight Zone episodes "It's a Good Life" and its sequel "It's Still a Good Life" with his daughter (who played his character's daughter). He had allowed his daughter to pre-sign a stack of these back in October 2008 and then he signed in my prescence.

Pretty decent mailday today. I got 2 that I am real happy with and one disappointment.  First, former Michigan State Spartan and current Browns coach, Chuck Bullough signed 1 of 1 in 112 days c/o the Cleveland Browns. Secondly, current Detroit Lions linebacker and former Ohio State Buckeye, Bobby Carpenter signed 2 of 2 in 120 days c/o Detroit Lions. Finally, the disappointment. Doyle Brunson signed 1 of 1 for me in 7 days. Unfortunately, he signed it on the back. So this card is up for trade if anyone is interested.

I had mailed several Lost in Space items (including this book titled "Lost in Lost in Space") and a few Lassie items earlier this year for her to sign as it appears that another possible opportunity to meet her in person is unlikely, given her age. She also included this handwritten letter.

Nice return for the second to the last mailday of the year! Peyton Manning signed 1 of 1 in 11 days c/o his foundation! I also received a signed Ray Allen card that I won from a Listia auction!

Thanks guys! The only complaint that I have on this return is the fact that it came back with a small scratch at the top of the card that wasn't there when I sent it out.

I see that...........hmmmmmm....thats odd...my friend got his photo back a bit ruffed up as well....damn is this a spiteful pattern I see...I would hate to think that he would do that....maybe the mail carrier ?

At least its a small scratch. I don't think that the mailman did it as there was no damage to my return envelope. It almost looks like someone took a paperclip to it! I haven't seen any pics from others and thier returns, so I don't know if I'm the only "lucky" one!

Hey Russ, that is exactly what it is - a paper clip. I have gotten several autographs over the years with paper clip indentions on them. I think maybe the mail handlers for some celebrities opens the mail, then paper clips the card/photo to the SASE that it goes to before handing it off to the celebrity to be signed. When the paper clip is removed or has been clipped to the item to be signed for very long, these scratches and indentions occur. Only explaination I can think of.

I got a nice response ttm from dana delany today! Through a dealer i got an  autographed picture signed of ron howard and henry winkler. From listia i won a signed picture of lori saunders from petticoat junction fame.

Thanks Jeffery! That's probably what it is. I got a response from Susan Lucci once where her handlers paperclipped my crads together and mailed them back. They arrived with big paperclip shaped dents in the cards. They were ruined! At least the Manning is still good!

I ended the year on an awesome note autograph wise! Today, I received Jeremy Roenick. He signed 4 of 4 in 253 days! Max Venable signed 2 of 2 in 9 days! Finally, David Sammartino signed my pin up and trading card in 8 days and included 2 signed pics of his own! Fantastic success! Happy New Year everyone!

Just received 2 nicely signed 11x14's from Jane Seymour ($10.00 each required donation). I also had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Seymour. She was very nice.

I am a noobie to this site and need some help in starting out in my quest to aquire autographs from Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin, and Jay Novacek.  I would also love to get autographs from the Dallas Cowboys team of the 90's.  Any info you guys give me will help me alot. 

How do I even begin to find out if Aikman, Smith, Irvin, and Novacek do autographs through the mail?

Aikman ans Smith only sedn out pre-prints. Irvin doesn't sign ttm. I don't know about Novacek. I wrote to him back in the 90's and got a lousy rubberstamp on my cards.

have any of you tried any colleges?  Ive tried ND, Miami, FSU.BC and have had some success. I check to see if there is a facebook account--send them a letter asking and adding a SASE for response...favorite one was Justim Tuck...I met him at the hotel here in Jersey when ND came to play Navy here. I blew up the photo that l had taken with him and when l met him during the season he said' l remember that poster and taking this photo'  l felt important-even for a split second..lol

lm sorry...lm new to this room so l dont know what is the norm...l use to send for just photos but now l ask to send some bigger item(I know-dont cry over something that you dont mind losing in the first place) but again l ask for permission

Oliver, usually you can find Aikman, Smith, and Irvin at card shows. In fact, Aikman and Smith will be doing a show with GT Sports Marketing April 25-29, 2012, at the Garden State Exhibition Center in Somerset, NJ. They don't have a very good website in my opinion, so I would email them to get prices: gtsmhawaii@aol.com    As far as Irvin and Novacek, I have not found anything on them. They both have not signed TTM since 2007, according to my sources.

I got autographs ttm from dallas clark and jacob tamme of the colts. About a 3 week turn around!

Today, I got the first R.T.S of the New Year! One from Bob Kudelski and the other from The Iron Sheik, but I did get 11 successes for a total of 20 autographs! This includes the awesome Bobby Richardson card that I got in a trade with CEEGEE! Your Brunson will be in the mail tomorrow my fiend! The only bummer is from Rick Cerone. I wrote to him telling him that I was a big Yankees fan and I sent an extra card for my son Jakob. He signed the Brewers card and sent back the Yankees card unsigned again! This is the second time that he didn't sign the Yankees card! I'm just going to have to send it alone I guess. It seems to be the only way to get him to sign it!
