I actually got some ttm goodies today! First, I got a signed bookplate from Beth Kerry. Next, I received a nice signed 8x10 of Paula Poundstone. Finally, I got a package from author Anne Kelleher. She sent me a nice letter explaining that she ran out of bookplates and hoped that I wouldn't mind a signed copy of her book, How David Met Sarah! That's right, she sent me a signed book! Class act all the way!

I got a cool autograph ttm from debbie gibson today! She signed my dvd cover for the scfi movie mega python vs. gatoroid. It is a cheesy movie but i might even send the cover to tiffany to sign? Also awsome autographs everyone!

Friday brought me the autograph of Medal of Honor recipient, John Baca. Mr. Baca received the Medal of Honor in 1971, for his actions from February 10, 1970, when he heroically covered a grenade with his steel helmet, then covered the helmet with his body, absorbing the blast and saving the lives of 8 men. He is truly a remarkable man. I made 3 custom cards; one for me, one for my dear friend Sgt. Brad Mercier of the U.S. Army, and one for Mr. Baca to keep. Mr. Baca signed all 3, and also sent along 3 of his MOH Society bullions. Those will be going to Brad, along with the autographs.

Also on Friday, the mail brought me the autograph of Derek Schmidt, former kicker for Florida State University from 1984-1987. Derek was an All-American all 4 years at FSU, and when his college career was over, he was the NCAA's all-time leading scorer.

Also, just want to apologize to Tommy John for my comments Tuesday. Did not know it was the ex-wife behind the bush-league practice of charging for forgeries. The "not even a HOFer!" comment was bush-league on my part. 288 career wins is nothing to sneeze at, and I hope he one day makes it in. I'm sorry, Tommy, in case you ever read this.

This monday i received a RTS from William Shatner, I know it was a longshot but still..I wanted to try. :) Hope the rest of the week will bring something better.

l get into a building different buildings at different times....cards today--parquet tiles another...posters another and baseballs and helmets another...l have a hard problem staying on task and it makes the collection growing out of my basement..now lm concentrating on 'in person' signatures--posters..it has been going well!!! sux that l cant get to other venues to get others done  and l REALLY hate paying those HUGE prices at shows...

is there a thread where people post the addresses that are used...workable or not workable

this is an important tool in collecting...l know there are paid sites but l thought maybe some might get posted here...thanks

I got the dreaded return to sender from carl lewis.There are a few websites out their john that give free addresses memreg.com for example.

Hey Robert, mind me asking what address you used for Carl Lewis? I got a success from him last year with a Colorado address. Be willing to give you that if that's not the address you used.

Yeah, Robert, that's the one. I hate to hear that you got the RTS. Everyone else is getting theirs back. I'm assuming you left off the house number for Parker Road because we are not supposed to share addresses on this forum. So I'll tell you what, I'm going to shoot you an e-mail with the house number I used, just in case. Try him again; might have just been a postal error or something.

I got one ttm today, but itwas a little disappointing. I received 4 of 4 from Greg Kesler, but when I wrote him, I told him that 2 were for me and 2 were for my son. He signed all 4 to my son and signed them in ball point pen! He even signed the duplicate cards to my son! Well, at least he signed I guess.

Today's mail brought me the autographs of 2 PGA legends, J.C. Snead and Don January, and former Florida State University quarterback and current Middle Tennessee State University head football coach, Rick Stockstill. Mr. Snead won the 1995 Senior PGA Championship, beating Jack Nicklaus in a 1-hole playoff. Mr. January won the 1967 PGA Championship in an epic 18-hole playoff, beating Don Massengale by 2 strokes. Coach Stockstill was one of the very best quarterbacks at FSU, guiding them to a top-5 finish in 1980, and an upset win over Ohio State at the Horseshoe in 1981. He's also guided MTSU to a Sunbelt Conference title in 2006, and a 10-win season with a New Orleans Bowl victory in 2009.

i got 2 cards from doug moreau and a.j duhe. 2 great former lsu players. also recieved tony dungy 8x10 photo.

Got a cool TTM today my picture of Judith Light of WHos The Boss fame sent it on 1/20/12 and got it back today 2/25/12 just over a month

I got a couple to report today. First, I received 5 of 5 signed cards from Steve Searcy. That came in yesterday. Today, I got a signed Nick Fury card by, voice actor, Jack Angel.

Just got a call from Kelly at the University of Georgia. She asked me about the card that I sent the coach to sign. She also asked my age. I guess she wanted to verify that I wasn't eligible for recruiting! She also said that she would get my card signed and sent back to me today! Awesome!

Got Paul Herhoeven back today. He directed some great films including Robocop, Total Recall and Basic Instinct.

I for me today. I received a nice signed 8x10 and a trading card from Wayne McCullough. The strange thing is the fact that I sent him an e-mail months ago and he responded saying that it was $5 for autograph pics. I ordered and got mine not too long ago. I wonder what happened. The good news is that they didn't charge my Pay Pal account again! I checked

@ Jeffery. I saw on the web site when I was looking up the address for the Bulldogs that you had to fill out a form to insure that your item wasn't going to be re-sold or it wasn't going to "anyone between the grade 9-12".  It was neat.

2 TTMs today! I finally got "Cowboy" Bob Orton to sign for me! I guess the 4th time is the charm! LOL! I also got Mark Whitten to sign his minor league card. He kept the last one that I sent to him!

Love to see your pic ups Russ...sent out 3 today...I got many to go but keep neglecting them...oh well...i got to really buckle down and write them all up tomorrow...I really don't want to miss the spring training boat but I think I may be a little to late..but I will still send them anyway

I finished off the mail week with 3 very nice ttm returns. I got 5 of 5 from Todd Bodine, 4 of 4 from Mark Carrier, and 2 of 2 from Ann Myers. I also got a couple of books of stamps and plan on spending the rest of the weekend getting ttm requests around!

Got this item back the other day. Bradford Dillman played Dr. Lewis Dixon on Escape from the Planet of the Apes. He's got the tiniest signature I've ever seen.

I don't know Lee.....Yogi Berra might give Mr. Dillman a run for his money on tinest autograph! :) I've seen some real tiny ones from him.

yogi wrote in huge letters compared with Robert Gallery when he was a rookie...he wrote his name so small that it would fit on a thumb nail..this was on a mini helmet!! When we asked him why he wrote it soooo small he said ' l want to see how much you are going to get on ebay...like we are all dealers...l HATE when a player or someone else implies that those asking for an autograph are dealers...we are the 1%ers ...lol  The way he turned out he should be selling his autograph to us because who would really want it now...lol

This morning's work mail brought me an autographed 8x10 of former All-Star catcher, Darren Daulton. Darren was a 3-time National League All-Star, the 1992 NL leader in RBIs with 109, the 1997 NL Comeback Player of the Year, and World Series hero for the Marlins by batting .389 in the 1997 series. Can't wait to see what might be waiting in the mail box for me at home this afternoon!

I ended up with 2 nice ttms today and a lousy return to sender! The r-t-s- was from an address that I tried for Jay Lethal.  The successes came from, former Washington Redskins kicker, Mark Mosely. He even inscribed MVP 82 on the card! Finally, I received a signed bookplate and a nice note from, author, Anna Broadway! Not a bad way to start the week even with the r.t.s.!

4th times a charm.  Been trying to get this guy since thanksgiving. Ralph Kiner:
