I am looking in to trying TTM autographs for the first time since I was a kid. Do y'all have any advice on how best to package a baseball for TTM autographs?
KDH, I have had some great success with the small bubble mailers that are big enough for a baseball to go in. They look like little plastic bags. I buy mine from the mail/stationary section at the grocery or drug store (depends on who has them on sale for the week!) The usually run anywhere from $0.71 - $0.99, and the postage to mail them that way is about $2.75 per mailer. The ink does not rub on the baseball coming back, and I can't think of a better, more cost effective way to send baseballs TTM.
Was not expecting this one bit...purchased Bobby Richardson's pictorial magazine he had sent me a ordering form from my last TTM...Bobby has been very generous to me and since he signed so many times for me I wanted to purchase his book to show him my appreciation...I sent him a nice letter thanking him for signing for me and wanting his book...out of the kindness of his heart he signed the cover....wow...that was so nice...totally love it...first TTM in 13 days...and unexpected auto at that...
hey to all my autograph collector brothers and sisters, sorry it has been so long in between my posts, things have been going rough , lost my home and living in a family members basement, not able to send out requests until i get a place of my own, the family is bumming real bad, especial;ly the kids, no freedom to be kids, and my wife and i well we have no us time . looking at getting a monthly hotel until my disability comes in or we save enough to get a nice place, but, i have to get them out of here! got a couple nice ttm's this past 30 days. got 4 signed pics from mike farrel of M*A*S*H, and then i got Carol burnettes on a sign 5 x 7 index card, both great successes.
Got this back in 17 days from Mr.Reggie Jackson...had Whitey signed the card last month...now off to Berra next month to sign and then Jeter... that's going to cost about 700...I don't even want to think about that...Yikes !!!!!!!
Had a truely AWESOME mail day yesterday. Start with this one first, a signed Notre Dame Collegiate Collections card from former All-American lineman, George Kunz. George was a part of that great 1966 National Championship team at Notre Dame, and went on to play several different positions along the offensive line, culminating in an All-American performance at tackle in 1968. He went on to a great pro career in the NFL with the Falcons and Colts, being named to 8 Pro Bowls.
And to top it all off, I finally was able to break through and get a signed "Decision Points" book plate from our 43rd President, George W. Bush. Wrote to him 14 months ago, and never heard anything, so I decided to give it another shot.
I autos ttm from kelly kelly, jeann basone, and jonathon magnum from lets make a deal! Plus a return to sender joe bonsall when i did not get a autograph request to him in time from a concert he was doing.
I guess this is my first adult TTM, even if it is through an official Rockies promotional. TULO! (I recently returned to my dad's house and rediscovered several TTM autographs I did as a kid.)
If anyone doesn't mind, what address do you all use for George Bush book plates? Besides a letter, does George require a check/any form of cash for a signed bookplate?
From swagbucks i got a signed poster from 1090 clu sos. Ttm from tim russ of i carly and and boy meets girl 80s sensation sent me an autographed picture whos big hit in the 80s was waiting for a star to fall!
"Waiting for a star to fall! And carry your heart into my arms, that's where you belong! In my arms, baby, yeah!" That was an awesome jam back in the day.
Nice score today, Russ! "The Professor" finished up this week on a high note, as well. Got the autograph of former offensive guard for Georgia Tech, Dean Weaver. Dean played for Georgia Tech from 1984-1987, and was a driving force behind that great 1985 team that won the Hall of Fame Bowl that year.
I got 2 from Monte Irvin (cards) as a paid request that came in on Saturday...but for some reason I cant upload the pictures....weird...I will try again later...
Today's mail brought me the autograph of fromer Notre Dame punter, Vince Phelan. Vince played for Notre Dame from 1986-1987, and was the starting punter for the 1987 season in which Notre Dame finished 8-3 and went to the Cotton Bowl.
I got Ralph Kiner and Don Larsen dual signed Berra card in 11 days on Monday...both paid requests...I just wish I could up load the pics...I just cant seem to figure it out any more...also 2 from Monte Irvin also paid request's...I got to figure out how to get them up here

No mail on Friday. Saturday, I received a signed 8x10 from Eddie Dreezen that I ordered for $4 off of his website. I also got 2 of 2 signed by Bill Mueller and 7 of 7 from Mr. Jason Alexander! Today, I received 2 of 2 from Troy O'Leary and 4 of 4 from Mark May. Unfortunately, May signed all four cards to my son Jakob instead of 2 for him and 2 for me. I really hate when a celebrity does this. Don't they read the letter?

I want to say that I started of having a crappy day. I was sick all day yesterday and I had to miss work. I wasn't feeling all that great this morning, but you can't make any money staying at home. So I went into work. Let's just say that it was all downhill from there. That all changed when I got home, because waiting there for me was one of the most spectacular care packages that I have ever received. Coming from, His Majesty of the signed vintage cards, CEE GEE I present this signed Bobby Shantz card! It is an amazing card and a welcome addition to my collection! He also included some other things that were just off the charts! Thanks, brother! I am truly humbled by your generosity. Also ttm, I got 1 of 1 from Mark Thurmond.

Well, after nothing yesterday, I ended the mail week on a pretty good note. First, Bob Bergren signed 5 of 5 for me. He personalized them all to me instead of me and my kids. Oh well, he couldn't have signed them at all! Next, Joel Horlen signed my O.S.U. cards plus, the postcard that I sent. He also sent this sweet vintage poster that he also signed for me! Classy! Finally, Jack Swagger signed my WWE Champions card, as well as, a DVD advertisement for Smackdown!

Awesome success the last few days, gentlemen. Kudos to you all! I started off the mail week rather mediocrely mmyself. First, I got a r.t.s. from Eddie Bonine. I used an address from the Smalling List. Next, I got 2 of 2 from Eve Torres. Unfortunately, she signed the one that I really wanted signed on the front, on the back! I hate that! At least I got one nice one.
