After nothing on Tuesday or Wednesday, I had a pretty mediocre mailday for Thursday.
First, Phil Coke sent my card back unsigned with a form letter requesting a $10 donation to the Tigers charity. No thanks. Coke isn't worth it.

Second, Todd Burns didn't return my cards, but sent this signed 89 Topps.  I guess that its better than nothing, but I liked my cards better.

Friday's mail brought an early Father's Day gift for the 'Ole Professor, an autograph from the 1948 Major League Baseball Rookie of the Year, Al Dark. Al had quite a career in baseball: the 1948 Rookie of the Year award, a World Series championship as a player in 1954 with the Giants, and a 1974 World Series championship as the manager for the Oakland Atheltics.

I had sent original Mouseketeer Sharon Baird a new t-shirt with a 1956 style "Mouseketeers" logo on it about a week or so ago. I received an appreciative thank you note from her in today's mail.

Recieved this autograph back from Natalie Trundy  (Jacobs) back after 3 months. It is a picture of her being made-up as a mutant human in Beneath the Planet of the Apes.

Awsome as always everybody! Hopefully mine will pick soon as all i have received as of late is return to senders from captain and tennile twice and melissa manchester as well!

I received a nice "Thank You" card from original Mouseketeer Bobby Burgess today for the "Mouseketeers" t-shirt I sent him.

Finally catching up on my ttms from this weekend. On Friday, I received 2 of 2 from, WQTE DJ, Stacy Lynn and 2 of 2 from Ben McDonald. Saturday brought 2 of 2 from Jill Loyden. MOnday brought a RTS from Perry Saturn and 2 of 2 from WLEN DJ, Larry Hall.

I got an excellent autograph ttm from ricky jordan and another autograph ttm from someone else i am not sure about!

I broke my 2 day ttm drought today with a couple of nice ones.

First, Eric McClure signed my 2 hero cards and included one of his own.

Next, Matt Hardy signed my WWE poster. Now all I need to do is get Jeff on it to complete it!

The USPS has been great to me these last two weeks.  I am working on a project to collect the members of the '68 Detroit Tigers team and received some cards back already.  Dave Campbell, Denny Ribant, Dick Tracewski, Don Wert, Fred Lasher, Hal Naragon (included Thank You note), John Hiller, Jon Warden (included 1 of his own), Roy Face included 1 of his own), and Wayne Comer.

I also have a question for you sports card's collector's.  A few of my recent returns have smudges and/or dotting on the ink - like it is not adhered to the card very well.  Is there a way to avoid this?  

Hey Jeff. If you rub the glossier cards with a white eraser or even on your blue jeans, it will "rough up" the glossy coating enough to keep the ink from bubbling up on you.

Got a RTS from Joyce Walker today. I sent it to the school where she was the head girls basketball caoch. The school returned my items in my sase with my original envelope that some one had alread written "Return to sender" on. I don't really understand why they had to waste me sase when the had already written on my original envelope. Jerks!

Anyway, I did get 4 of 4 from Joel Otto so the last mailday of the week wasn't a total wash.

Just wanted to let you know that I sent a letter to the home of actor Dabney Coleman today. With that and an email to former boxing contender Adolfo Medel, I am now officially hoping to get 2 autographs through the mail sooner or later. I will keep you guys posted to see what happens!

I got autographs ttm from brent spiner and billy crash craddock. Also got a paid success ttm for 5 bucks from lisa whelchel of an autographed picture with free postage!

Came home to a soggy mailday. Luckily, nothing was damaged.

First, I received a big manilla envelope from Auburn University. Enlosed was my sase and trading card unsigned with a letter of explaination. I guess their policy states that they aren't allowed to signed mailed in items. So they sent me 2 sweet signed 8x10s of Gene Chizik and Gus Malzahn!

Secondly, Steve Garvey signed my Michigan State card and a Looney Tunes card for my son, Jakob! Nice mailday!

Got a TOUGH one in the mail today, in the form of former Miami Dolphin safety Glenn Blackwood. Glenn teamed with his brother Lyle, Bob Baumhower, Bill Barnett, Kim Bokamper, Charles Bowser, Doug Betters, and Bob Brudzinski, in 1982 to form the famous "Killer B's" defense that lead the Dolphins all the way to the AFC Championship and Super Bowl XVII. Lyle and Glenn were also given the nickname the "Bruise Brothers," as they were very heavy hitters.

Forgot to mention, the Blackwood took 1,038 days!!!! So thankful he chose to write me back. I'll certainly treasure this one.

today I got my amazon purchase of the Supernatural Inkworks card  signed by Lauren Cohen  Bela Talbet  back and also my Bo Hawks auction house purchase of a Kevin Costner signed movie still . although i have been told its fake , i still only paid $25 for it 

Today ttm i got a signed cd from micky dolenz from an image meet and greet! Also got a personal greeting to me and my family himself! Also got a flash drive showing my item being signed with greeting! It is a little pricey but i would reccomend it to every one it is very cool. I have always wanted to meet micky and this may have been the only way!

Only one ttm today from Steve Duchene. He signed 6 of 6 for me in 488 days!

Today brought 3 items from Last Months Pristine Auction sale , a JSA certified Melissa Joan Hart 8x10, a JSA certified Tyrone Wheatly Raiders 8x10 and a PSA encapsulated 3x5 of LPGA Belen Mozo , then going through my tubs of magazine pages i found 2 i forgot about a signed 8x10 of Disney Channels A.N.T. Farm star Allie DeBerry from Disney Fan Shop I think this is a preprint though ANY help conforming that would be great . and then a signed photo of Eileen and her sister Rose Black from a Softball stunt team 

I just simply could not help myself. Everytime I pass by a box of these cards at a card show, I just simply have to have them. I promised myself no more projects until I finish one, but I gave into temptation. Started sending out requests from the 1989 Collegiate Collection Auburn University set this week, and got back my first response: Don Anderson. Don was a defensive back for the Tigers on their 1983 SEC Championship team that went 11-1 and beat Michigan in the Sugar Bowl.

Today, I got a RTS from Julie Olkowski. I sent it c/o Northwestern University. They sent it back and wrote "Julie O left in 2004" on it. Maybe they should update their website then!

i got autos ttm  today from actress leslie uggams and 1983 heisman hero  mike rozier!

Sweet score on that Mike Rozier, Bob! He was one of my favorite Falcons players growing up. Only played with us for 2 seasons in 1990 and 1991, but he was fun to watch.

Today, I got my Latest Amazon purchase Nicky Anosike's autographed card from her rookie year in the WNBA  with the Minnesota Lynx and yesterday I got my latest Listia win Jason Kubel 143/399

Today, the 'Ole Professor scored 2 of 2. I usually don't send out 2 at a time, but if I have a professional sports team card to go along with a players college card, I typically give it a go to see what happens. Got the autograph of former Auburn Tiger and Dallas Cowboy great, Tommie Agee. Tommie was a major part of Auburn's 1983 SEC championship team, and the Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl XXVII and XVIII championship teams.

Thanks, Bob and Russ! I just can't help myself when I see a box for sale! I'll put a set together, and then take the duplicates and see if I can get an autograph. These guys love to reminisce about their college days and get so excited to hear from people who remember them.
