@ Jeff, I don't know what they were thinking with that new Dolphins logo, but it sucks! The new uniforms are ok but that logo has to go.  I agree, "why fix it when it's not broken".

August has started out pretty good for me. Yesterday, I got returns from Larry Robinson of the Kings and Chris Vickers from WTOL Toldeo. And today, I got my card back from Brett Vandercamp. He is the President of the New Holland Brewing Company. Not only did he sign my card, but he also sent a nice note and a sweet beer coozie for me! Awesome success!

I got  two autograph photos from dylan sprayberry who played the younger clark kent in the man of steel.

i got autos ttm from billy mills, rene auberjonois, and debbie gibson. As a bonus the mail person was on time for once!

I sent an e-mail request for an autographed photo to Helen Reddy's website on Wed., July 31, 2013 and just received it today, free of charge!

Got one ttm today. Comic writer, Jason Aaron signed my advertising card fro Wolverine and the X-Men.

I got autographs from , curent Toledo Mudhens: Brad Davis, Ben Guez, Gustavo Nunez, Jordan Lennerton, Danny Dorn, and Bryan Holaday! I also got 2 of 2 from Heather O'Reilly and 4 of 4 from Molly Holly!

Got the autograph of arugably the greatest women's basketball player in Georgia Tech history today in Ida Neal-Smith. Ida was All-ACC in 1989, when she averaged 19.1 points, 7.1 assists, and 3.8 rebounds per game.

Following on the heels of Russ "The Crusher" Robinson's Collegiate Collections success from Don Pooley, I found this in my mail box today. Bobby Beaird was originally a running back at Auburn University, but got switched to safety, and then developed into an electrifying kick returner, playing for the Tigers from 1964-1966. He's now an OB-GYN practicing in Montgomery, AL.

Thanks, Babb and Russ! I got a nice hand written letter from Dr. Beaird, too, thanking me for remembering him and his teammates. It's just amazing to me tracking these guys down and seeing where they are now. I think that some of them think I am pulling a cruel prank on them when I find where they are working and call their office to ask permission to write them. I've had many instances where a secretary will ask, "Um, is this some sort of joke? Who are you, and why exactly are you calling again?" After assuring them I am serious, they get all giggly and give me the go ahead. There's no telling how many times I've almost had stalking charges taken out on me! Nervously LOL!!!! Who would have ever guessed how risky TTM autograph collecting would become someday.

I got 2 ttms today. One good and one bad.
I'll start with the good. I got one of one from, former LSU center, Bo Strange. He even signed my letter!

Second. 13abc meteorologist, Kelly Heidreder signed the back of my custom. To make matters worse, it rained today and the mail got soaked and the ink ran on my card. Completely ruined it!
I guess the bright side is the fact that the stamp didn't get cancelled on my return envelope!

Russ, that sucks the Kelly Heidbreder card got rained on. Although look at the bright side, since she is a meteorologist, consider that a "rain-used" card. :)

I go Bo Strange, too, a couple of years ago, although when I did, I sent it to Louisiana, and it came back post marked from North Carolina. Is that where he lives now? He was a big part of LSU's National Championship team in 1958. And just an FYI, it is spot on compared to mine in regards to authenticity.

After no mail on Wednesday, I did receive 4 packages today.

I added signed cards of Jose Ortega, Quintin Berry, and Brandon Douglas to my Toledo Mudhens set and I got a surprise return from Biz Markie!

On my 5th year wedding anniversary yesterday, my mailman greeted me with the autograph of NFL great, Sam Adams. Sam was an All-Pro defensive tackle for several teams from 1994-2007, including that dominating defense of the Baltimore Ravens that won Super Bowl XXXV.

Thanks, Babb! And the surprises keep coming! Finished off the week by getting former Auburn University safety, Scott Blackmon, in the mail today. Scott played for the Tigers from 1968-1970, and was a key member of that great team in 1970, that went 9-2, beat 'Ole Miss in the Gator Bowl, and finished ranked #10 in the country.

yesterday I got Country Great Sylvia Hutton  back she signed my Country magazine 

That song she sang, "Nobody," is a timeless 80's classic, Adam. Nice score!

Got back a true, all-time great in the mail today. 9-time major golf champion, Gary Player. With this autograph, I have completed the trifecta of golf's Big 3: Palmer, Nicklaus, and now, Player. Can't believe it.

The RTS was from Toledo Mudhens outfielder, Casey Crosby. He must have got traded or released before my card got to him. I'll have to track him down as I need that card for my set!

The successes came from, former Olympian, Billy Mills and Pro Angler Greg Vinson.

Got back from the beach today, and found this waiting for me in the mail, Bucky Ayers. Bucky was a defensive back for Auburn University from 1965-1967, and was also their top men's golfer during that period, too.

The 'Ole Professor finished out the week with a card that I had completely forgotten about for the past 308 days. Brian Asselstine, an outfielder and pinch hitter for the Braves from 1976-1981, signed this 1977 Topps rookie card for me. I'm thinking about trying to get the other 3 guys on it, too, if I can.

Awsome professor! That shows that we should never give up lol!
